2. Settlers Seize Land East of Bethlehem and Attack a Vehicle in Salfit

Settlers began fencing off land in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, with the aim of seizing it, while others attacked a citizen’s vehicle in Salfit. The head of the Tuqu’ Municipal Council, Taysir Abu Mufreh, told our correspondent that a group of settlers stormed the Qanan Shuqair area, northeast of the town, and began fencing off 15 dunams of land with barbed wire. The land, planted with olive trees, belongs to citizens from the Asakrah family and is located only tens of meters from their homes.
