A child was killed by Israeli occupation forces near the town of Jaljilia, north of Ramallah, amid widespread attacks and assaults by settlers.
The Ministry of Health announced the death of the child, Youssef Ali Youssef Kaabneh (16 years old), who was shot by occupation forces near Jaljilia, north of Ramallah.

2. Five civilians, mostly children, injured in Israeli shelling targeting Beit Lahia

Five civilians, most of them children, were injured as a result of new Israeli shelling targeting the Al-Salatin area west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its ambulance teams managed to evacuate the wounded from the targeted area and immediately transfer them to Al-Saraya field hospital.

3. Son of Dr. Abu Safiya: My father is facing starvation and torture inside occupation prisons

The family of Palestinian doctor Hossam Abu Safiya is living in continuous concern over his fate as he remains detained in occupation prisons for nearly 18 months, amid testimonies reporting systematic starvation, denial of medical care, and prevention of communication with his family.
Elias Abu Safiya, the detained doctor’s son, said that his 52-year-old father is facing tragic conditions in prison and suffering severe health deterioration due to being denied treatment and basic medical rights.
He explained that occupation authorities allowed his father to meet his lawyer after 90 days of being denied visits, following international pressure. He added that the family lives in constant fear because of the information reaching them regarding his health and living conditions inside detention.

4. Al-Barghouthi: Laws allowing execution of prisoners signal a bloodier phase inside prisons

The dean of released Palestinian prisoners, Nayel Al-Barghouthi, warned that the Israeli occupation’s move toward passing more laws concerning the execution of Palestinian prisoners and the trial of detainees from October 7, 2023, represents a dangerous escalation aimed at “legalizing killing” inside occupation prisons, within the context of the comprehensive war being waged against Palestinians.
Al-Barghouthi stated that the new laws reflect the occupation’s nature as “an enemy of humanity,” adding that approving execution legislation against prisoners “amounts to a decision to end the occupation’s existence in the region,” referring to the dangerous consequences of these policies on the future of the conflict.

5. Human rights center: Spread of acute malnutrition among Gaza’s children threatens thousands of lives

The Gaza Center for Human Rights stated that the Gaza Strip is witnessing a severe spread of malnutrition among children under the age of five, indicating an unprecedented deterioration in the humanitarian situation due to ongoing occupation restrictions on the entry of essential food supplies and the collapse of health services, more than 30 months after the start of the Israeli military offensive.
The center noted that more than 71,000 children under the age of five are at risk of acute malnutrition during 2026, while aid flows declined by 37% between the first and second periods following the October 2025 ceasefire agreement, according to the latest reports from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Thousands of settlers stormed Joseph’s Tomb east of the city of Nablus under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
Occupation forces deployed in several areas to secure the settlers’ incursions, occupied rooftops, and imposed a closure on the city after setting up military checkpoints.
Local sources reported that more than 5,000 settlers stormed Joseph’s Tomb, including extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and members of the Knesset.

7. Occupation detains and interrogates UN official over his visit to Gaza

Israeli occupation authorities detained a United Nations official at Ben Gurion Airport for 45 minutes and interrogated him regarding a visit he made to Gaza last year.
The Hebrew newspaper *Yedioth Ahronoth* reported that Israel detained Gilles Michaud, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Safety and Security, upon his arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.
It added that he was questioned by the Shin Bet regarding a visit he made to Gaza in August last year in coordination with Israel.

Settlers attacked citizens’ vehicles in the Khalayel Al-Louz area southeast of Bethlehem.
Local sources stated that a group of settlers threw stones at citizens’ vehicles and deliberately performed dangerous car stunts in the streets, with no injuries reported.

9. Occupation releases 13 prisoners from the Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation forces released a number of prisoners from the Gaza Strip who had been detained after October 7.
Local sources reported that the occupation released 13 prisoners from Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing and transferred them to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah for treatment, accompanied by Red Cross teams.
For its part, the Red Cross stated that it facilitated today the release of 13 detainees from Israeli prisons, who arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.

18. Revelation of coordination between Greece and the occupation to target Freedom Flotilla ships

An investigative report published by the Italian newspaper *Fanpage* revealed the existence of high-level security and intelligence coordination between Athens and Tel Aviv during the targeting of ships belonging to the international Freedom Flotilla heading to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
The report explained that the direct cooperation aimed to obstruct the movement of solidarity ships, while documents and data exposed details of Greek governmental complicity with the occupation through information sharing and monitoring international activists aboard the vessels.
