1. Five killed and others injured in Israeli shelling of Gaza
Five citizens were killed and others injured in Israeli shelling of Gaza City. Local sources reported that three citizens were killed after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a vehicle near Al-Yazji Bakery in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
2. Ben-Gvir celebrates the starvation of Palestinian prisoners in an AI-generated video
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir published an AI-generated video showing him celebrating the policy of starving Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli prisons, a move that sparked a wave of anger and criticism on social media platforms.
Ben-Gvir appears in the clip boasting about what he describes as implementing a policy of tightening restrictions against prisoners. The video was accompanied by the phrase, “We promised and we delivered,” using the suffering of prisoners for propaganda purposes and turning their detention conditions into material for political showmanship.

3. Settlers carry out various attacks in different areas of the West Bank
As part of their ongoing series of repeated crimes, carried out under the protection of the occupation army and the extremist government, settlers committed various attacks in different areas of the occupied West Bank.
East of Ramallah, extremist settlers forced the family of citizen Bashir Na’im Kuna to evacuate their home in the village of al-Taybeh, to which they had moved only seven days earlier, as a result of escalating threats and direct attacks.

Southeast of Bethlehem, extremist settlers released their sheep to graze on privately owned Palestinian land belonging to the village of al-Minya on Monday morning.

4. Five fishermen injured by occupation forces’ fire in Gaza waters
Five fishermen were injured by fire from the Israeli navy while carrying out their fishing work off the coast of Gaza City, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire continue.
Local sources reported that fishermen Ahmad al-Sharafi and Ahmad al-Sheikh were injured after Israeli boats opened fire on a small fishing boat they were aboard in the waters off Gaza City.

5. Annexation and displacement continue: Occupation authorities prevent access to new lands east of Jerusalem
Israeli occupation authorities notified Palestinians that access would be prohibited to lands located around the al-Muntar Bedouin community and the al-Sawahra desert, east of occupied Jerusalem, claiming that they are “state lands.”
The move is part of a new measure restricting residents’ movement and threatening their access to their lands and sources of livelihood.

The Jerusalem Governorate said that teams from the Israeli Civil Administration had begun putting up signs prohibiting citizens from accessing the targeted lands, noting that most of them are concentrated in areas frequented by residents and around the al-Muntar community and its school.

Activists from the boycott movement organized a protest inside the “Rushmere” shopping center to condemn its allowing “Home Bargains” to sell products that fund the Israeli economy of genocide against the Palestinian people.
During the event, activists stressed that the cost of military and political support for the occupation is being paid by the entire world, citing estimates by the Bank of Israel showing that the cost of the war on Gaza has exceeded $112 billion.

11. Kite-flying event in Nice following threats against Gaza’s children
Activists and pro-Palestinian solidarity groups organized kite-flying events in France in support of children in the Gaza Strip and in condemnation of recent Israeli military threats against them.
The initiative comes in response to global appeals after the occupation government, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister, issued official threats to carry out airstrikes, assassinations and evacuations of residential neighborhoods under the pretext of children flying kites for play in displacement camps.

12. Solidarity campaign at SOAS University calls for saving doctor Hussam Abu Safiya
The “Liberated Zone at SOAS University” group in London launched an urgent appeal to save the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital and pediatrician, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, who is detained in Israeli occupation prisons.

The Palestine Solidarity Network in New Zealand submitted an official petition bearing the signatures of hundreds of citizens to the Invercargill City Council, calling for a boycott of companies complicit in settlement activity.
During a council meeting, the network explained that the petition calls for ensuring that taxpayers’ money is not spent supporting 158 companies linked to illegal Israeli settlements listed in the United Nations database. Among the most prominent are Airbnb, Motorola and Booking.

15. Protest in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, condemning occupation massacres

16. Growing calls for UEFA to cancel Ireland’s match against Israel
Amnesty International and the “Stop the Match” campaign launched widespread public appeals from the organization’s tent at the “Mindsfield” festival, calling for the immediate cancellation of scheduled matches between the Irish national team and the Israeli national team in the UEFA Nations League.

17. Sánchez: “Israel” is involved in the migrant crisis because of our position on the genocide in Gaza
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez accused Israel of being behind the migrant crisis from Morocco, pointing out that attacks on Madrid by European right-wing parties are motivated by Spain’s position condemning what it describes as the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking to the press, Sánchez said that “the migrant crisis from Morocco began with a social media campaign launched by Israeli pages.”

18. UN experts call for lifting US sanctions against the International Criminal Court
United Nations special rapporteurs condemned the sanctions imposed by the United States on International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane and senior court officials.
In a statement on Monday, the rapporteurs said that on August 18, the United States decided to impose sanctions on ICC President Tomoko Akane and one of its senior officials, Abdullah Siy.

They called on states that are members of the International Criminal Court to take urgent and bold steps to protect the Court from unlawful interference.

19. “Paul Miller” says Israel is bringing the world closer to a global war by targeting hospitals
Activist “Paul Miller” confronted American fighter “Phil Roe” during a large press conference, condemning the criminal practices of the Israeli occupation and the international silence surrounding the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
Miller said that the occupation’s policies are bringing the world closer to a third world war, pointing to the deliberate targeting of hospitals and the killing of children in bloody massacres. He also criticized the complicity that allows the occupation to escape punishment and accountability for war crimes committed against Palestinian civilians.

20. Bennett: The American people see “Israel” as a state committing genocide and killing children
Former Israeli Prime Minister and leader of the opposition “Together” party Naftali Bennett acknowledged that the name “Israel” has become associated among Americans with genocide and the killing of children.
Bennett made the remarks several days ago during an appearance on the “All-In” podcast, criticizing the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for what he considers a failure to defend Israel’s image around the world.

Bennett said: “For the first time since the founding of Israel, it has become a negative brand among the American public.”

21. Athens signs deal with Israel to purchase three air defense systems worth $3.6 billion
The deal concludes three years of negotiations to supply Athens with the “David’s Sling” and “SPYDER” systems produced by Rafael, as well as the “Barak MX” system produced by Israel Aerospace Industries, with the aim of integrating them into Greece’s “Achilles Shield” air defense network.
The agreement, whose implementation phases will span approximately 35 months, includes the deployment of missile batteries on Greek islands and the creation of an AI-powered command-and-control network. In return, 12 Greek companies will receive contracts worth €700 million, making the deal larger in value than the sale of the “Arrow 3” system to Germany in 2023.

22. OCHA: 94% of Gaza’s population needs shelter and essential supplies
Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), warned of the continued deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amid a worsening shelter crisis, severe access restrictions and an acute shortage of funding for the humanitarian response.
In his latest briefing on humanitarian developments in the Strip, Laerke said that 58% of Gaza’s population faces severe or catastrophic shortages in shelter conditions or access to essential services and non-food items, exposing them to significant health and security risks.
