1. Four Martyrs and Several Injuries in Israeli Shelling and Gunfire on Gaza**
A Palestinian woman was killed and three others were injured as a result of gunfire by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
Local sources reported that an Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire in the vicinity of Yaffa Street, leading to the killing of the woman, Noha Zuweid (48 years old), and the injury of three citizens with varying wounds. They were transferred to receive medical treatment.

**2. One Woman Killed and Three Injured by Israeli Drone Fire Northeast of Gaza City**
A Palestinian woman was killed and three others were injured due to gunfire by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
Three citizens were also killed in Israeli shelling and gunfire east of Gaza City, as Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire reached on October 10 last year. Additionally, three citizens were killed due to the collapse of a house west of the city.
Another citizen was killed when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

**3. Euro-Med Monitor: U.S. Cover Enables Israel to Continue Genocide and Deepen the Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza**
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor affirmed that the United States provides political cover that enables Israel to perpetuate the current situation in the Gaza Strip and continue what it described as genocide against the civilian population.
In a press statement, the Monitor explained that U.S. support for Israel, and linking progress on the ceasefire to the recovery of the last body from Gaza, constitutes blatant complicity in the ongoing violations of the ceasefire, the siege of civilians, their displacement, and the destruction of what remains of their homes.

**4. Prisoners’ Affairs Commission: Medical Neglect and Harsh Humanitarian Conditions Threaten the Lives of Two Prisoners in Ramon Prison**
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission reported that two Palestinian prisoners are living under extremely dangerous humanitarian and health conditions inside Israel’s Ramon Prison, due to what it described as ongoing medical neglect by the prison administration.
In a statement issued after its lawyer visited the two sick prisoners, Dhafer Rimawi and Mohammad Kleib, detained in Ramon Prison in southern Israel, the Commission detailed their health and living suffering.

The Israeli occupation government approved the establishment of 19 new settlements in the occupied West Bank, accelerating settlement expansion. Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich described the move as “historic,” raising the number of settlements approved over the past three years to 69.

**12. Protest by Returning Books Worth Thousands of Dollars to Indigo Bookstore for Supporting Israeli Soldiers**
Dozens of pro-Palestine protesters staged a demonstration inside an Indigo bookstore at the Eaton Centre last Saturday, where more than 100 participants collectively returned children’s books in an attempt to pressure the store’s profits during the peak shopping season.

Reports indicate donations totaling approximately $40.5 million to the foundation since 2019.
Protesters also demanded that the Canada Revenue Agency revoke Heseg’s charitable status, arguing that its support for a foreign army constitutes complicity in crimes against Palestinians. The protest was silent in nature, with participants entering the store without chants or speeches, simply requesting refunds as an expression of their opposition to the company’s policies and role in supporting the war on Gaza.

Five UN Special Rapporteurs expressed deep concern over potential human rights violations at Columbia University against pro-Palestine supporters who protested on May 7 at Butler Library.
In a letter addressed to Acting University President Claire Shipman, the rapporteurs cited arbitrary arrests, physical assaults, and disciplinary actions including expulsions, suspensions, and the revocation of degrees affecting more than 70 students. They also noted surveillance, detention of non-citizen students, and threats of deportation due to peaceful participation in protests.
