1 – London | Arrest of Greta Thunberg**
British police arrested Swedish activist Greta Thunberg during a protest outside the insurance company “Aspen” in London, after she held up a sign supporting hunger-striking prisoners from the Palestine Action organization and condemning the genocide in Gaza. The company is one of the insurers of the Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems.
**2 – Britain | Risk of death threatens hunger strikers**
Concerns are escalating in Britain over the lives of eight activists from the Palestine Action organization who have been on hunger strike for about a month and a half inside prisons. Their lawyers and relatives warned of a serious deterioration in their health conditions, calling on the government to release them and lift the ban on the organization, amid ongoing popular protests in support of them.
**3 – Jerusalem | Targeting journalists**
Occupation forces caused several journalists to suffer from suffocation while they were covering raids north of Jerusalem, after storming the towns of Kafr Aqab and the Qalandiya refugee camp and firing stun grenades and tear gas at journalists and residents.
**4 – Gaza | Suspension of orthopedic surgeries**
The Palestinian Medical Relief Society announced that 99% of orthopedic surgeries in the Gaza Strip have stopped due to the severe shortage of medical supplies and the continuation of the siege.
**5 – France | Assault inside a Carrefour store**
Security staff at a Carrefour store in France assaulted activists during a boycott action against the store, protesting its involvement in supporting the Israeli occupation and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
**6 – Gaza | Severe malnutrition**
The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned that around 320,000 children under the age of five are at risk of severe acute malnutrition, amid the collapse of the healthcare system and food shortages.
**7 – Haifa | Attacks during Christmas celebrations**
Israeli occupation police assaulted people celebrating Christmas in the Wadi al-Nisnas neighborhood in the city of Haifa, leading to tensions during the festivities.
**8 – The Hague | Belgium joins genocide case**
The International Court of Justice announced that Belgium has officially joined South Africa’s case against the Israeli occupation on charges of committing genocide in Gaza, and called on the parties to submit written observations regarding the intervention.
**9 – Jerusalem | Forced eviction**
Occupation forces forced several Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the town of Kafr Aqab north of Jerusalem, as part of a policy of forced displacement.
**10 – Gaza | Military escalation**
The occupation carried out airstrikes, fired helicopter gunfire, and conducted artillery shelling on areas east of Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Rafah.
**11 – West Bank | Settler attacks**
Settler gangs attacked Palestinian homes and property in several areas of the West Bank, carried out Talmudic rituals inside the Ibrahimi Mosque, assaulted farmers, and prevented them from accessing their land.
**12 – United States | Mark Ruffalo**
American actor Mark Ruffalo affirmed his continued support for Palestine, stressing that he is not afraid of losing his career in Hollywood because of his political positions.
**13 – International | Warning over weapons shipment**
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition called for stopping the passage of the cargo ship “Ocean Gladiator,” which is believed to be carrying one of the largest weapons shipments bound for the occupation since October 2023.
**14 – Italy | Call to boycott Eurovision**
The USB union within the Italian public broadcaster RAI called for Italy to withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, in protest against the confirmation of Israel’s participation.
**15 – Italy | Calls to boycott ENI**
The boycott movement called for action against the Italian company ENI, accusing it of facilitating the theft of Palestinian gas through its partnership with the Israeli occupation.
