1. Gaza Health Ministry: 11 killed and 7 injured over 48 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the cumulative death toll has risen to **71,562 martyrs** since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, amid the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe and the inability of ambulance crews to reach many victims.
The ministry said that hospitals in the Strip received **11 new fatalities and 7 injuries** over the past 48 hours, noting that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads due to rescue teams being prevented from reaching them.

**2. Injuries in settler attacks on Qusra town, south of Nablus**

Several Palestinian youths were injured with bruises following an attack carried out by settlers on the town of **Qusra**, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers attacked residents in the southwestern area of the town, leading to clashes during which occupation forces fired live ammunition.

**3. UNICEF: Winter cold worsens the threat to the lives of hundreds of thousands of displaced children in Gaza**

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned that winter conditions pose a **grave threat** to the lives of hundreds of thousands of displaced children and their families across the Gaza Strip, as they continue to live in shelters and temporary tents lacking even the minimum safety requirements.
The organization said that widespread damage to water and sewage systems has led to the flow of contaminated water due to heavy rainfall through populated areas, causing the collapse of many displaced families’ tents and exposing them to serious health risks.

**4. Gaza Civil Defense warns of a harsh cold wave threatening residents’ lives**

Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza, warned of a sharp drop in temperatures accompanied by strong winds, exacerbating risks to residents of the Gaza Strip, particularly in displacement areas and damaged buildings.
Bassal said these cold and harsh conditions raise the likelihood of the collapse of buildings already damaged by bombardment, and also threaten deaths and injuries due to extreme cold—especially among infants, the elderly, and the sick—amid the absence of heating means, the deterioration of tents, and the lack of basic protective necessities.

**5. Doctors Without Borders: Warns of worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza as cold intensifies**

The international organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) warned of a severe deterioration in humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip amid harsh weather conditions and ongoing Israeli attacks.
The organization said that large numbers of residents are living in temporary plastic shelters, while others are staying in old tents that have been badly damaged by strong winds and rain.

**9. London-based rights organization: Expelling Israel from the UN has become a necessity to protect UNRWA**

Prominent human rights activist **Mohammad Jamil**, head of the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Britain, said that expelling “Israel” from the United Nations has become an *“urgent necessity”* to protect the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and ensure its ability to carry out its humanitarian mission, amid what he described as systematic and escalating Israeli targeting of the agency.
Jamil explained that what UNRWA is facing in occupied Jerusalem, including the demolition of its facilities, represents an advanced stage in a long process that began with organized demonization campaigns, deliberate financial starvation, and the imposition of sanctions and legislation banning the agency’s work, culminating in the closure of its offices and the targeting of its physical presence—an apparent attempt to end its role as a UN witness to the Nakba of the Palestinian people.

In the city of **Tameside**, supporters of Palestine continued to raise their voices, affirming that their support is unaffected by weather conditions, whether rainy or sunny.

**11. Targeting of “Chubb” insurance company in Vienna over complicity in Gaza genocide**

Activists targeted the office of the global insurance company **Chubb** in Vienna as part of a coordinated protest movement that included several European cities such as Paris, Hamburg, Zurich, and London, against insurance companies accused of supporting genocide in Gaza and contributing to the climate crisis.
Protesters smashed windows and sprayed paint on insurance company offices in Zurich, including **Chubb** and **Aspen**, in a warning message directed at financial actors participating in the World Economic Forum being held this week in Davos.
Activists condemned the continued financial support for genocide in Gaza, as well as these companies’ involvement in insuring fossil fuel projects. **12. Hind Rajab Foundation demands Greece arrest Israeli defense minister for war crimes in Gaza**

The human rights **Hind Rajab Foundation** announced that it has filed a complaint with Greek authorities demanding the arrest and investigation of Israeli Defense Minister **Israel Katz**, on suspicion of involvement in war crimes in Gaza, including the forcible transfer of civilians and the targeting of protected civilian facilities such as homes, schools, hospitals, roads, and infrastructure.
The foundation said in a statement on its official website that it submitted a report to the prosecutor of Greece’s Supreme Court, calling for urgent legal action due to the limited duration of Katz’s official visit, which is scheduled to end soon.
It added that the complaint emphasized that *“Greece’s jurisdiction and legal obligations are immediately activated by Katz’s actual presence on Greek territory.”*

**13. Netanyahu excluded from Davos Forum due to arrest warrant**

Hebrew media reported that Israeli Prime Minister **Benjamin Netanyahu** will not participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, amid fears of his arrest following warrants issued against him by the International Criminal Court.
“Israel” is being represented at the forum by the entity’s president, **Isaac Herzog**, who arrived aboard the aircraft “Wing of Zion” and immediately held a meeting with the President of the UN General Assembly and former German Foreign Minister **Annalena Baerbock**.
Herzog said that preventing Netanyahu—or even former Israeli Defense Minister **Yoav Gallant**—from participating constitutes a *“reward for terrorism,”* calling on the international community, especially European countries, to *“quickly put an end to these baseless sanctions before they undermine the legitimacy of international frameworks and turn them into tools of political conflict.”*
On November 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant following investigations into their alleged commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the war on Gaza, including accusations of starvation, deliberate killing, persecution, and other inhumane acts. Netanyahu’s warrant is the first in the court’s history against the head of government of a Western state and a key US ally. The warrants apply to **125 countries** party to the Rome Statute, obligating them to arrest the individuals should they enter their territories.
