1. Two killed and several injured in an Israeli strike west of Gaza City

Two civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli attack west of Gaza City. Local sources said Israeli military helicopters targeted a group of civilians inside Gaza Port, resulting in the deaths of two people, including the young man Mohammed Majdi Abu Warda, and injuries to dozens of others. The wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital for treatment.

### 2. Environmental expert: Mixing drinking water with sewage accelerates “acute malnutrition” among Gaza’s children

Abdel Fattah Aziz, Professor of Environmental and Marine Sciences at the Islamic University of Gaza, warned of the serious environmental and health consequences resulting from the destruction of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

Professor Aziz stated that the destruction of water and sewage networks directly causes drinking water to become contaminated with wastewater, creating the conditions for a major public health disaster. He explained that this contamination leads to the widespread spread of intestinal, skin, and respiratory diseases among children, especially in overcrowded displacement areas lacking even the most basic environmental living conditions.

### 3. Israeli forces arrest four young men east of Jerusalem

Israeli forces arrested four young men at the Al-Za’im military checkpoint east of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the young men were stopped while passing through the checkpoint, their identities were checked, and they were subsequently arrested. According to the sources, Israeli authorities claimed that the young men had entered occupied Jerusalem without permits.

### 4. Prisoners’ Media Office: Eid prayer banned and prison rooms raided in “Janot” prison

The Prisoners’ Media Office stated that the administration of Janot Prison prevented prisoners from performing Eid al-Adha prayers and raided prison rooms after inmates began reciting Eid takbirs inside the prison.

The office added that prisoners are facing harsh living conditions, including poor food, deteriorating hygiene, and escalating daily punitive measures amid tighter restrictions inside the prison.

It also reported that prison authorities imposed additional restrictions prohibiting prayer and Qur’an reading, while threatening isolation and punishment for anyone violating the regulations.

### 5. Gaza Civil Defense warns of service shutdown amid rising fires and lack of resources

The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza warned of the risk of a complete halt to humanitarian intervention operations in the coming days due to increasing fire incidents, the breakdown of several firefighting and rescue vehicles, fuel shortages, and a lack of firefighting equipment.

The directorate said the number of fire incidents has risen recently, both because of non-compliance with safety measures and as a result of continued Israeli attacks on homes, tents, and vehicles, significantly increasing field intervention missions.

### 6. Israeli committee approves bill restricting the call to prayer in Jerusalem and inside Israel

The Israeli Ministerial Committee for Legislation in the Knesset approved a new bill aimed at restricting the Muslim call to prayer (adhan) through loudspeakers in mosques located in occupied East Jerusalem and Palestinian communities within Israel.

According to Israel’s Channel 7, the measure is justified under the pretext of “preventing noise pollution” and is being promoted by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Knesset National Security Committee Chairman Tzvika Fogel.

### 7. Palestinian killed by Israeli gunfire in Al-Ram near Jerusalem

A Palestinian citizen was killed by Israeli forces in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Imad Haroun Hamdan Ishtiya, 27, died from wounds sustained after being shot by Israeli forces near the separation wall in Al-Ram.

### 8. Settlers expand pastoral outpost on Mount Ebal

Israeli settlers expanded a recently established settlement outpost on the summit of Mount Ebal, north of Nablus, by bringing dozens of mobile homes (caravans) to the site under the protection of Israeli forces.

Palestinian sources warned that the move aims to transform the outpost into a permanent settlement and gain control over one of the most strategically important locations overlooking the city.

Mount Ebal is one of the two mountains surrounding Nablus, alongside Mount Gerizim, and overlooks large areas of the city and surrounding towns and villages.

### 9. Al-Aqsa Hospital warns of imminent health disaster due to generator crisis

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital warned of the serious and rapidly worsening consequences of a crisis involving malfunctioning electrical generators, which has reached a critical stage following the shutdown of a fourth generator.

The hospital stated that the remaining generators have become severely worn out after more than three years of continuous operation under exceptional conditions in Gaza and are no longer able to meet the daily needs of vital departments despite ongoing technical and engineering efforts to keep them functioning.

### 10. Protesters in Canada block entrance to General Dynamics over support for Israel

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Valleyfield, Quebec, to protest the expansion of the military manufacturer General Dynamics, which produces propulsion systems for 155mm artillery shells exported to Israel through the United States.

The march began outside Elizabeth Monette School and proceeded to the company’s entrance, where protesters expressed opposition to the plant’s expansion, financed with $682 million from the U.S. Army to triple production capacity.

Shams Sadiq, owner of a café in Manchester, said he was approached by two police officers seeking information about pro-Palestinian activists and members of the Palestine Action movement in exchange for financial benefits and legal assistance.

Sadiq explained that the meeting took place at Ashton-under-Lyne Police Station while he was retrieving electronic devices previously confiscated during earlier investigations. He said the officers initially assured him that there were no plans to charge him before asking for his cooperation.

### 15. Petition calls for protection of Albanese and International Criminal Court judges from U.S. sanctions

Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, called for support for a petition urging the European Union to protect human rights defenders and international justice officials targeted by U.S. sanctions.

Albanese stated that she, along with judges of the International Criminal Court and Palestinian human rights defenders, needs public support to confront what she described as overreach by the U.S. administration, calling on people to sign and widely share the petition.

The criticism followed her participation in a student solidarity encampment at Columbia University, where she argued that accusations of antisemitism are being used to intimidate dissenting voices and stated that defending a state committing genocide reflects a moral and humanitarian failure.

### 17. Protests at Seoul National University and calls to close Israeli center

Students, alumni, and workers at Seoul National University in South Korea held a press conference outside the university’s administrative building to launch a petition campaign demanding the immediate closure of the “Israel Center for Education and Research” on campus.

Protesters surrounded university president Yoo Hong-rim as he passed through the demonstration area, chanting slogans accusing him of complicity in and support for genocide and of covering up Israeli crimes.

### 18. Organization of Islamic Cooperation says UN decision on Israel requires international accountability

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stated that the inclusion of Israel on the United Nations blacklist of parties responsible for sexual violence in conflict zones represents “a victory for Palestinian victims” and requires international accountability and legal action.

In a statement published on its website, the organization’s General Secretariat welcomed and supported the findings contained in the annual report of UN Secretary-General António Guterres regarding conflict-related sexual violence.
