1. 7 killed and others injured in attack on passenger bus and scattered Israeli bombardments in Gaza
Several civilians were killed and others injured as a result of continued Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
In the latest violation of the ceasefire agreement, local sources told Safa that 7 civilians were killed and 15 others injured, some of them critically, in an Israeli airstrike targeting a public transport bus towing a trailer used to transport civilians, in the area of the Council of Ministers in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
In addition, journalist Mohammed Abdel Aziz al-Najjar, from the Holy Quran Radio and a resident of the town of Khuza’a, was killed in an attack by an Israeli drone in the Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis.

3. Settlers begin establishing an outpost west of Salfit and attack Palestinians in the West Bank
Settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinians and their property in several areas of the West Bank, while beginning to establish a new settlement outpost west of Salfit and launching attacks on Palestinian vehicles and farmers.
In Salfit Governorate, settlers began establishing a new outpost on Palestinian-owned land located between the towns of Kafr al-Dik and Bruqin.
In Ramallah Governorate, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones as they traveled along the “Marj Si’a” road.
In Jenin Governorate, a farmer was injured after settlers attacked Khirbet al-Makhal, west of the governorate. The incident is part of a series of attacks targeting Palestinians, their property, and their sources of livelihood in various parts of the West Bank.
4. Tulkarm under raids: occupation forces arrest former prisoners and turn homes into military barracks
Israeli occupation forces have expanded their raids in Tulkarm Governorate, arresting a number of civilians, including former prisoners, and turning homes into military barracks after detaining their residents. The campaign affected towns and suburbs across the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the governorate.
Local sources reported that occupation forces raided dozens of homes in the towns of Kafr Zibad, Kafr Jammal, Kafr Abbush, and Kafr Sur in the Kafriyat area, as well as the town of Far’un south of Tulkarm. They searched the homes and damaged their contents, detaining families inside some of them before turning the houses into military positions.
5. “Ben-Gvir” boasts of changing the reality at Al-Aqsa and calls for it to be opened to Jews 24 hours a day
Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir boasted about what he described as the “achievements” of his policies inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, announcing efforts to extend the hours during which Jews can enter the mosque and to allow them to perform their rituals inside it. The move reflects efforts by the occupation authorities to impose new realities at the holy mosque.
Ben-Gvir said, “Because of my policy, Jews are able to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque and prostrate themselves inside it,” adding that “more must be done and it should be opened to Jews 24 hours a day.”
6. Rituals paving the way for seizure: settlers target historic spring northwest of Jerusalem
Settlers have escalated their targeting of the Al-Ras area in the town of Al-Jib, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, by raiding it again and performing religious rituals at a historic water spring. Palestinians have warned of attempts to seize the site and prevent local residents from accessing it.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that settlers raided the area for the second time in a matter of days and performed what they call “purification rituals,” including bathing in the spring’s water, after previously raiding the site and raising occupation flags there.
7. Adnan al-Barsh’s wife urges Human Rights Council to pressure Israel to hand over Palestinian bodies
Yasmin al-Barsh, wife of Palestinian doctor Adnan al-Barsh, who was killed in Israeli prisons, called on the international community to pressure Israel to hand over the bodies of Palestinians it is holding, allowing their families to say farewell to their loved ones and bury them with dignity.
She made the appeal during a speech delivered on behalf of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor before the United Nations Human Rights Council during its 63rd session in Geneva.
8. Gaza winter increases the cost of displacement: dilapidated tents and needs weighing on families
Winter is approaching the Gaza Strip this year with additional burdens for displaced families. Alongside the harsh conditions of displacement, they are facing continuously rising costs for securing shelter and protection from rain and cold, at a time when their purchasing power has declined and many have lost regular sources of income.
Economic researcher Ahmad Abu Qamar said the approaching winter is adding a new economic burden to displaced families, noting that securing shelter capable of withstanding weather conditions has become an additional cost that many families cannot afford.

9. Event in Ireland to discuss ways of pressuring Israel to end the war of extermination
The Sligo Palestine Solidarity Committee is holding a public meeting under the slogan “Awakening the Global Conscience” to discuss ways of maintaining local, national, and international focus on ending what it describes as the genocide being committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.
Three participants in the latest Gaza flotilla will take part as guest speakers: Sligo general practitioner Margaret Connolly, Professor Mago Brunet of Ohio University, and Louise McCormack.
10. Calls for daily gatherings outside Milan Cathedral in solidarity with Palestine
Activists and groups supporting the Palestinian cause in Italy have called for participation in a daily solidarity vigil held in the square outside the famous Duomo Cathedral in central Milan, to raise their voices against the ongoing massacres of the Palestinian people and break the international silence.
Organizers urged Arab communities and Italian supporters to dedicate an hour each day to attending and participating in the gathering, stressing that physical presence constitutes a decisive political message rejecting the distortion of facts and the failure to support victims in Gaza and the occupied territories.
11. Calls for demonstrations outside Dublin’s Aviva Stadium demanding Israel’s expulsion from the Nations League
The Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign has issued a public call for people to gather and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people under the slogan “Stop the Game” (#StopTheGame), coinciding with the football match between Ireland and Australia as part of the Nations League.
The action, scheduled for October 1 at 6:30 p.m. outside Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, aims to pressure the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) to show the occupation a “red card” and stop the sporting event.
12. Palestinian flag raised on one of Stockholm University’s buildings
Students at Stockholm University in Sweden organized an on-campus protest during which they raised a huge Palestinian flag inside one of the university’s main buildings, condemning the continuation of academic partnerships and research agreements with Israeli universities that they accuse of complicity in the genocide.
The protest came after the university administration rejected student demands to sever academic ties, while continuing to cooperate with educational institutions belonging to what the protesters describe as an apartheid state, while freezing and ignoring any cooperation with Palestinian universities.
13. Gathering outside Labour Party conference calls for an end to complicity
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign called on the British government to stop arming Israel and impose comprehensive sanctions on it, describing it as an apartheid and genocidal state. The campaign said recent government announcements represent a step forward but remain wholly insufficient.
The campaign’s stall at the governing Labour Party conference in Liverpool received visits and support from British MPs and trade unionists, including Kim Johnson, Navendu Mishra, Andy McDonald, and Mariam Islam Dost.
14. Global calls for events to launch kites for Palestine
The Kites for Palestine platform has issued international calls to participate in the “Global Kites for Palestine Weekend,” scheduled for October 10 and 11, coinciding with the third anniversary of the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip, which the organizers describe as a genocidal war.
The platform urged supporters and activists around the world to take to public squares, raise and fly kites during demonstrations and marches planned for the “Global Day of Action,” in order to deliver a unified message calling for an end to the aggression and the protection of children under the slogan “Let the Children Play.”

15. Senate blocks resolution that would have required Trump administration to investigate occupation crimes in the West Bank
The U.S. Senate rejected a resolution calling on President Donald Trump’s administration to submit an official report on the killing of nine American citizens in the occupied West Bank by occupation forces, as well as on systematic Israeli violations against Palestinian children detained in prisons and military detention centers.
The resolution, introduced by Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen, failed after 53 senators voted against it and 47 supported it, in a vote that was clearly divided along party lines.
16. Solidarity vehicle travels through Kosovo streets to highlight the genocide
A solidarity activist drove a mobile vehicle displaying the Palestinian flag and awareness-raising slogans through the streets of Kosovo, with the aim of conveying Gaza’s humanitarian message and highlighting the ongoing war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Strip.
17. Palestinian Youth Movement in New York calls for October 10 demonstration marking anniversary of the genocide
The Palestinian Youth Movement in New York announced plans for a large protest on Saturday, October 10, at 3 p.m. in Washington Square Park, condemning the third anniversary of the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip.
The call came after a series of public actions during which the movement stated that New York City would not be a safe haven for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or for the colonial Zionist project he represents.
18. Protest campaign in San Francisco calls for cutting supplies to the occupation
U.S. and Jewish solidarity groups opposed to genocide carried out a coordinated campaign to put up protest signs at more than 20 locations across the San Francisco Bay Area, targeting the annual shareholders’ meeting of shipping company FedEx.
The action, led by organizations including East Bay DSA and the Korean movement Nodutdol, was organized to protest FedEx’s alleged involvement in transporting shipments and military equipment included in U.S. aid packages through Oakland International Airport (OAK) for the Israeli military.
19. Student campaign calls for banning Cisco technology and removing it from universities
The CHAI and CAHE coalitions launched an academic campaign under the slogan “Block Cisco,” coinciding with the back-to-school season, calling for an end to reliance on the U.S. technology and networking company’s products and software on university campuses.
The campaign came in response to what organizers describe as ongoing documentation of Cisco’s complicity in apartheid and genocide, through the operation of networks they characterize as illegal inside settlements in the occupied West Bank, its longstanding partnership with the Israeli military, and its successive acquisitions of Israeli technology companies allegedly involved in human-rights violations.
20. Al-Akbarov: Gaza faces a complex humanitarian crisis, with thousands missing under the rubble
Ramez Al-Akbarov, Acting United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process and UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, warned that the complex humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip is continuing despite some improvement in the entry of food supplies.
In an interview with the press, Al-Akbarov said humanitarian needs in the Strip remain extensive, with ongoing crises involving water, sanitation, shelter, and waste management, alongside increasing reliance on aid and cash transfers, while the labor market has yet to recover.
