South Africa: We will continue our efforts to apply the Genocide Convention to Israel

South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor said that the massacres committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip are a reality before the entire world, affirming that her country will go ahead with the case against Israel before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

“We want to apply the Genocide Convention to Israel regarding its behavior against the Palestinians,” she added.

She described what is happening in Palestine as apartheid, stressing that South Africa is seeking to activate the United Nations Committee against Apartheid to investigate Israel’s behavior.
