1. Health: 7 dead and 30 injured arrived at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that, over the past 24 hours, 7 people were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip dead, including 5 newly deceased victims and 2 who died from injuries they had previously sustained, in addition to 30 people injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Strip.
In its daily statistical report, the ministry confirmed that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, while ambulance and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.

2. Trial of Sheikh Akram Sabri resumes: Continued Israeli persecution of the Al-Aqsa preacher
Hearings resumed before an Israeli occupation court in occupied Jerusalem in the trial of Sheikh Akram Sabri, preacher at Al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Islamic Higher Council in Jerusalem, over charges related to “incitement.”
His defense team said the case is part of a long series of measures and prosecutions he has faced over the past several years.

Sheikh Sabri’s defense team said the court held a new hearing today, during which it will begin hearing the evidence contained in the indictment, stressing that the sheikh denies all charges against him.

3. Al-Thawabta: Israeli claims of abundant food in Gaza are misleading propaganda intended to obscure the famine
Ismail Al-Thawabta, director-general of the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, said that campaigns to dispose of food products carried out by teams from the Ministry of National Economy are part of regulatory procedures aimed at protecting citizens from spoiled or unfit food products.
Al-Thawabta categorically rejected Israeli claims that there is a surplus of food supplies or that the famine affecting the Gaza Strip has ended.

He described the use of footage showing the disposal of some products to promote the idea of abundant food in the markets as “blatant media deception” and an attempt to evade legal and moral responsibility.

4. New repeated warning: Major and accelerating collapse of the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip
Bassem Zaqout, director of medical relief services in the Gaza Strip, warned of a major and rapidly accelerating collapse of the healthcare system, amid continued Israeli attacks across different areas, from northern Gaza to the south, and worsening shortages of medical personnel, operational supplies, and energy.
Zaqout said in press statements that medical teams are facing enormous difficulties in dealing with the growing number of injuries, particularly at night, amid power outages and complete darkness.

He added that ambulances are also unable to reach many areas because of the extensive destruction of roads and infrastructure.

5. Settlers uproot olive trees and plow agricultural land east of Bethlehem
Settlers uprooted a number of olive trees and plowed agricultural land in the Jabal al-Qarn area of the town of Al-Minya, east of Bethlehem.
Ahmed Kawazbeh, head of the Al-Minya village council, said in press statements that settlers entered residents’ land in the area and used agricultural machinery to plow it after uprooting several olive trees planted there.

9. Swiss Supreme Court confirms legality of coverage of Gaza protests
The Swiss Federal Supreme Court overturned a previous decision issued by the Independent Complaints Authority for Broadcasting, which had ruled against the German-language Swiss Broadcasting Corporation regarding its coverage of Gaza.
The previous ruling, issued in December 2024, had accused the broadcaster of providing one-sided coverage of university protests held across Switzerland in 2024 in solidarity with Gaza. It accused the broadcaster of downplaying some incidents during those protests and failing to sufficiently highlight manifestations of antisemitism.

10. Booking headquarters in Amsterdam splashed with red paint in protest against alleged complicity with the occupation
Independent activists in the Dutch capital Amsterdam splashed red paint over the headquarters of the global hotel-booking company “Booking,” painting its façade red to expose and document the company’s involvement in and profits from the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
The action came in response to the company’s continued listing and rental of tourist properties inside settlements and Palestinian villages that are illegally occupied.

It also challenged the political cover recently given to the company by Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten through his visit to the company and praise for its activities.

11. Sit-in outside the U.S. Embassy in London protesting the genocide
Activists and solidarity movements in the British capital London organized a mass sit-in outside the U.S. Embassy, marking the second anniversary of their continuous, around-the-clock protest against U.S. partnership in the ongoing genocidal war in Palestine.
Participants held signs and chanted slogans demanding an immediate halt to the arming of Israel and an end to Britain’s military exploitation by removing U.S. bases from British territory.

12. European research grants to Israel fall by 67% amid signs of an academic boycott
The number of research grants awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) to Israeli researchers fell by 67%, dropping from 30 grants in 2024 to just 11 this year.
This sharp decline within the prestigious “Horizon Europe” program reflects, according to the report, a decline in the standing and influence of Israeli academic institutions on the European continent, with Israel falling from sixth place among participating countries to the middle of the ranking.

13. Adidas apologizes for advertisement featuring Israeli army soldier
German sportswear company “Adidas” apologized after an advertising campaign featured former Israeli soldier Shalev Biton, sparking widespread condemnation and calls to boycott the company amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
Biton, whose left leg was amputated after he was injured while serving in the Israeli army in 2021, appeared in posters promoting the “Single Shoe” service, which allows people with limb differences to purchase an individual shoe rather than a complete pair.

14. Activists shut down Israeli arms factory in Newcastle
A group of British activists opposed to genocide shut down the arms manufacturing facility belonging to “Rafael,” a company owned by the Israeli government, in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The action, carried out by the group “Newcastle Residents Against Genocide,” was intended to disrupt production lines and prevent the flow of military equipment, in protest against the company’s direct role in supplying the Israeli army with weapons and technologies used in the ongoing massacres against Palestinians.

15. Former director of Palestine solidarity campaign accuses Britain of participating in genocide
Benjamin Jamal, former director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, accused the British government of active partnership in the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip by providing political, diplomatic, military, and economic support to Israel.
Jamal said that since October 2023, world leaders have attempted to promote misleading narratives about the war ending or a ceasefire being reached in order to conceal the continuation of massacres.

He added that the courage of Palestinians on the ground has succeeded in bringing the truth to light and exposing attempts by Israel to control the narrative and prevent international media coverage.

16. Mass demonstrations in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg and Malmö protesting the genocide
The Swedish cities of Gothenburg and Malmö witnessed large popular demonstrations protesting the continuation of the genocidal war and humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza caused by Israel, as well as the escalation of its attacks in the occupied West Bank.
The demonstrations underscored the Swedish public’s determination to continue applying popular pressure and reject the international silence over Israeli crimes that has persisted for years.

Macklemore told the audience, “We have not forgotten” the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, before performing his song “Hind’s Hall,” amid supportive chants from some members of the audience.

20. City of Providence places historic divestment referendum concerning Israel on ballot
The city of Providence, the capital of Rhode Island, is preparing to hold a public referendum in November 2026 calling on the municipality to refrain from investing in countries that practice ethnic cleansing, apartheid, military occupation, and genocide.
The Providence for Palestine coalition, together with the anti-Zionist organization Jewish Voice for Peace, succeeded in securing the initiative’s inclusion on the ballot, making Providence the largest U.S. municipality ever to put the question of divestment directly before voters.

21. Israeli soldier confronts pro-Palestinian demonstration in Japan
Video footage recorded in the Japanese city of Kyoto documented a confrontation with an Israeli soldier, during which he was seen directing offensive words, gestures, and insults at participants in a pro-Palestinian solidarity demonstration.
The incident comes amid continued popular solidarity events for Palestine in several Japanese cities, protesting the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip.
