1. 4 killed in Gaza as Israeli occupation violations continue
Four citizens were killed and others injured as a result of attacks and gunfire from Israeli occupation forces’ vehicles in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from Israel’s offensive on the Strip had risen to 73,470 killed and 174,540 injured since October 7, 2023. It noted that thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, amid difficulties faced by rescue teams in reaching them.

2. Two Palestinians killed by Israeli fire during raid on al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah
Two young Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers during a raid on the village of al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah, amid a field escalation and an attack targeting residents’ homes.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams treated one person who had sustained a live-fire gunshot wound to the neck and another who had been shot in the back during the attack by settlers and occupation forces on the village, before transferring them to hospital.

3. Occupation forces worsen the suffering of Gaza patients by preventing travel and closing crossings
The Medical Referrals Committee confirmed the cancellation of patients’ scheduled travel today through the Rafah crossing in southern Gaza due to the lack of the necessary coordination.
The committee said: “This cancellation is occurring for the third time in two weeks, as patients were only able to travel three times during that period out of the six scheduled trips.”

4. “Ma’ata”: 1,223 settlement-related crimes in August… West Bank faces escalation beyond attacks
Settler attacks in the West Bank are no longer isolated incidents that end when the assault itself ends. The figures for last August reveal a broader pattern in which attacks against Palestinians and their property intersect with land confiscation, the seizure of homes, and the expansion of settlement outposts.
The Palestinian Information Center “Ma’ata” documented 1,223 settlement-related crimes during a single month.

The figure represents an average of around 39 crimes per day, in one of the clearest manifestations of escalation in terms of the variety of settlement-related methods used and their expanding geographical scope.

5. Hussam Abu Safiya’s testimony reveals a horrific aspect of Israeli occupation crimes in prisons
Detained Palestinian doctor Hussam Abu Safiya has revealed horrifying details about the conditions of his detention and the violations he is being subjected to inside Israeli occupation prisons, in the latest message conveyed through his lawyer.
Abu Safiya confirmed that he has been subjected to repeated and severe physical assaults on different parts of his body, including sensitive areas, using hands, feet, and batons.

6. Israeli authorities issue demolition and stop-work orders for 4 homes and structures in Arraba and Arana
Israeli occupation authorities have issued demolition and stop-work orders for four homes belonging to the sons of Khaled Rahhal, in the Ras al-Shamali area of the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, near lands on which the “Ameq Dotan” settlement has been established.
Tariq Aghbariya, the official responsible for the settlement portfolio in Jenin Governorate, said the occupation authorities had given the homeowners a maximum of 15 days to file objections.

9. Actress attacks Irish actor Gerard McCarthy for withdrawing from a play with her
Israeli actress Maureen Lipman launched a fierce attack against actor Gerard McCarthy, calling him a “coward” following his decision to withdraw from the lead role in the play Right Before I Go, scheduled to be staged at London’s Soho Theatre, in protest against her repeated public statements supporting Israel.
Lipman, who had described actors’ protests against Israeli massacres as being “close to fascism,” attacked McCarthy’s decision in comments to The Times, dismissing his stance as merely “virtue signaling.”

10. Italian hotel refuses to host Israeli family and leads them to cancel their booking
An Israeli family was forced to cancel its reservation at L’Imbrunire B&B in Tuscany, Italy, after receiving a message from the hotel management confirming its full support for the boycott campaign and its opposition to Israeli occupation policies and what it described as the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
The hotel management informed the Israeli tourist directly, shortly before her scheduled arrival at the end of September, that it did not wish to support a system of injustice, repression, and serious violations of the rights of the Palestinian people. The hotel stated that it supports the “No Place for Genocide” campaign, which prohibits contributing to the financing or support of the Israeli military occupation.

11. Belgian mayor of Leuven bans hosting Israeli club “Hapoel Be’er Sheva”
The mayor of Leuven, Belgium, Mohamed Ridouani, announced that the city would prohibit the hosting of the scheduled match involving Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the UEFA Europa League, refusing to grant any official authorization for the game to take place in the city.
Ridouani said in an official statement that the city would not allow the match to take place in any form, “to preserve public safety and security,” stressing that the ban would remain in force even if the match were to be played behind closed doors in an empty stadium.

12. Celtic fans rally in support of “Stop the Game” campaign and call for Israel’s sporting isolation
The area surrounding Celtic Park in Glasgow witnessed a large-scale mobilization by supporters of Scottish club Celtic in support of and solidarity with the international Irish #StopTheGame campaign, which seeks to isolate Israel in the sporting arena and boycott its matches.
Campaign activists, together with the club’s supporter groups, including the Green Brigade, distributed leaflets and printed materials calling for a boycott of Israel and for a “red card” to be shown to it at all sporting events and competitions, in condemnation of the ongoing war described as genocidal against the Palestinian people.

13. Irish police arrest 4 activists protesting inside the Department of Justice in solidarity with Gaza students
Irish police arrested four demonstrators who had handcuffed themselves inside the Department of Justice building during a large protest demanding the immediate reversal of a decision to collectively reject visa applications from Gazan students who had received scholarships.
Police forces entered the building ten minutes after the protest began and threatened those present and members of the media with arrest before handcuffing and removing the four activists who had staged a sit-in at the doors. Participants chanted slogans of solidarity on the building’s steps, most notably: “Let them study.”

14. Ireland sets mid-September start date for settlement-goods ban and calls on Europe to take similar steps
Irish Foreign Minister Helen McEntee announced that Ireland’s ban on importing all goods and products manufactured in Israeli settlements built on occupied Palestinian territory would effectively enter into force in mid-September.
McEntee called on other European countries to immediately begin adopting similar domestic legislation and regulations to sever commercial ties with the settlements, stressing that the legal measure represents a necessary response to rejecting illegal settlements and confronting the occupation’s policies and expansionist practices.

15. US congresswoman calls on Washington to join the International Criminal Court
US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called on the United States to immediately join the International Criminal Court (ICC) and fully commit to implementing all decisions and arrest warrants issued by the Court.
The call comes amid growing political and human-rights pressure in Washington to end the system of complicity and military and political support for the Israeli occupation, particularly following the issuance of international arrest warrants against Israeli leaders on allegations of war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people.

16. US House of Representatives votes on bill banning boycotts of Israel at universities
The US House of Representatives is scheduled to vote this week on the “Protecting Economic and Academic Freedom Act of 2026,” a bill aimed at preventing universities and educational institutions receiving government funding from participating in any commercial or academic boycott of Israel or companies operating in settlements in the West Bank.
The bill was introduced by Republican Representative Virginia Foxx with Democratic Representative Josh Gottheimer. It would require educational institutions to allow their students and faculty to participate in joint academic programs with Israel and would make institutions that violate the provisions ineligible for federal financial assistance.

17. New York university students associate Israel with genocide
A report published by the Anadolu Agency on September 1 revealed a significant and growing shift in the attitudes of young Americans at major universities, with the term “genocide” reportedly becoming the first association that comes to students’ minds when they hear the name “Israel.”
Video interviews conducted with students at New York University and Columbia University in Manhattan showed that the words most commonly associated with Israel were “genocide,” “Palestine,” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.” The students described Israel as having become frightening because of its ongoing massacres in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

18. Microsoft Israel faces management shake-up as two senior leaders resign within four months
The resignations of two of the most prominent executive leaders at Microsoft Israel within four months have raised questions within Israel’s technology sector, amid talk of an unprecedented management shake-up and growing scrutiny of the company’s relationship with Israeli military and security institutions.
Michal Proferman-Blumenstik, general manager of Microsoft’s research and development center in Israel, announced her resignation after six and a half years leading the center and approximately 13 years with the company. No successor has yet been announced.
