1. Health: 8 killed and 31 injured in Gaza in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that hospitals across the Strip received 8 fatalities over the past 24 hours, one of whom died from injuries sustained, as well as 31 injured people. The ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, while ambulance and civil defense teams have so far been unable to reach them.

2. 90% of Gaza’s population at risk of hunger, while disease ravages the Strip before winter
The World Food Programme warned of a worsening food insecurity crisis in the Palestinian territories amid declining funding and growing humanitarian needs. It noted that family assistance in the West Bank has been cut by half, resulting in support being suspended for around 200,000 people.

The programme said humanitarian needs have doubled over the past two years, while escalating settler violence and Israeli military operations, along with the economic crisis and rising unemployment, have contributed to increased food insecurity in the West Bank.

3. Escalation by settlers: Vehicles burned and attacks continue in the West Bank and Jerusalem
Settlers have continued their attacks under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, with various areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witnessing new attacks targeting citizens’ property.

In the Nablus Governorate, settlers burned two vehicles in the town of Beita, south of the city.

Local sources reported that a group of settlers attacked the eastern part of the town and set fire to two vehicles that had been parked in front of residents’ homes before fleeing the area.

4. Settlers establish a new outpost on land belonging to Jenin residents
A group of settlers established a new settlement outpost on land belonging to Palestinian residents between the towns of Qabatiya and al-Zababida, south of the city of Jenin.

Local sources reported that the settlers erected a mobile home (caravan) in the area and raised the occupation flag over it.

The establishment of settlement outposts has increased in northern parts of the West Bank, particularly in the Nablus and Jenin governorates.

5. Occupation forces wipe out “Khirbet al-Tibban” in Masafer Yatta and leave 120 residents homeless
Israeli occupation forces demolished all homes, animal shelters and water wells in “Khirbet al-Tibban” in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, completely erasing the village during an operation that lasted five continuous hours from this morning.

Osama Makhamra, an activist opposing settlement expansion, said the demolition operation displaced around 120 residents belonging to 15 families, leaving them all outdoors under the sun.

He noted that the occupation carried out the operation under the pretext of taking control of the area because it is designated a “military zone,” while settlement outposts in the area continue to expand.

8. Occupation forces seize sums of money during raids on homes in Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces raided several homes in the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that occupation forces entered the town with several military vehicles and raided a number of homes, including the home of resident Zaghloul al-Khatib, where he was reportedly assaulted, as well as the homes of Hammam Mujahid Satouf, Muwaffaq Rahima and Subhi Aref al-Hajj.

9. 55,000 Britons call on Parliament to impose comprehensive sanctions on the occupation

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Britain launched a public petition signed by more than 55,000 people, calling on the government to end its complicity in the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and halt settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The petition was handed over as the British Parliament returned from its summer recess and Andy Burnham appeared before it for the first time as prime minister.

Signatories called for comprehensive economic and diplomatic sanctions and a complete ban on arms exports, as well as a ban on all forms of trade in goods and services with illegal settlements.

10. British campaign calls for intervention to save Palestinian doctors from occupation prisons
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Britain launched an urgent popular campaign to pressure the British foreign secretary, with the aim of forcing the Israeli government to immediately release medical and healthcare personnel who are being arbitrarily detained and subjected to torture and deliberate medical neglect.

The campaign called on the British public to send messages directly to the British Foreign Office to condemn what it described as the systematic abduction of doctors. It cited the case of elderly doctor Mazen al-Rantisi, who has been detained since June, and Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, who has been detained since December 2024.

11. British historian Avi Shlaim calls for the release of prisoner Marwan Barghouti
British professor and historian Avi Shlaim called for the immediate release of imprisoned Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti, who has been held in Israeli occupation prisons for more than two decades. He described Barghouti as the most capable and popular leader to guide the Palestinian struggle toward independence.

Shlaim made the remarks while participating with solidarity activists in Ceredigion, Wales, as part of a growing international campaign calling for the freedom of Palestinian prisoners held in occupation detention facilities.

12. French court overturns decision to remove Gaza photograph from Deauville festival
A French court overturned a decision by the municipality of Deauville in northern France to remove from an international sports photography festival organized by the city a photograph taken by a Palestinian photographer in the Gaza Strip.

According to local media, the organization “OLC,” a rights organization active in the fields of art and culture, turned to the courts after the Deauville International Sports Photography Festival, held in the famous coastal town in Normandy, sparked controversy over alleged discrimination.

13. Palantir CEO describes himself as the biggest supporter of the occupation in Silicon Valley
Alex Karp, CEO of technology company Palantir, announced his full support for the Israeli occupation system, describing himself as its strongest supporter within the American technology sector and Silicon Valley.

According to the report, this allegiance goes beyond political and rhetorical support to direct operational and intelligence cooperation, with the technology company providing the Israeli military and the Mossad with artificial intelligence platforms and Big Data analytics systems.

14. Investigation opened after academic barred from Scottish court for wearing a keffiyeh
An official investigation was opened in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, after Dr. Yvonne Ridley was prevented from entering the Sheriff Court in Edinburgh to attend her hearing, following security orders requiring her to remove her Palestinian keffiyeh on the grounds that it could potentially be used as a flag.

Dr. Ridley filed formal complaints against Police Scotland and the court service, alleging that she had been arbitrarily targeted and that security procedures had been changed without justification, particularly since she had previously entered the same court several times while wearing the keffiyeh.

15. Protests in Ireland expose EU complicity in genocide
Amnesty International Ireland praised popular mobilizations and solidarity groups that took to the streets in Dublin and Wicklow to deliver a strong message of public outrage to the 27 foreign ministers of EU member states as they held their joint meeting.

The organization said the protesters had succeeded in confronting European foreign ministers with their responsibilities, expressing condemnation of what it described as the European Union’s grave failure to take decisive action to stop the genocide, end the illegal occupation and dismantle the apartheid system imposed by the Israeli occupation.

16. More than 170 Jewish Hollywood figures reject accusation of antisemitism against Mark Ruffalo

More than 170 Jewish artists, writers and intellectuals in the American entertainment industry signed an open letter in solidarity with actor Mark Ruffalo, rejecting accusations by Paramount Skydance that he was “antisemitic” following his criticism of a major media merger and its connection to technological support for the Israeli assault on Gaza.

The call came one day after Oscar-winning director Kenneth Lonergan sent a strongly worded letter to The Hollywood Reporter, in which he described the accusation against Ruffalo as a “disgusting lie.”

17. Calls to fly kites around the world in protest against the ban on Gaza’s children flying them
The organizations “Rising Dreams” and “Kites4Palestine” launched an international initiative called the “Global Gaza Kite Weekend,” calling on people around the world to fly kites symbolically on September 12 and 13 in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The campaign comes in response to measures imposed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, which have affected even simple recreational activities, including children flying kites, banning and criminalizing the activity under what the organizers describe as baseless security pretexts and linking it to terrorism.

19. Students at Columbia and New York universities associate Israel with genocide
Students at Columbia University and New York University in the United States said that “genocide” against Palestinians is the first thing that comes to mind when they hear the word “Israel,” during journalistic interviews conducted by Turkey’s Anadolu Agency to examine shifts in awareness within the American student movement.

One New York University student said the three words most closely associated with the occupation in his mind are “Netanyahu, genocide and Palestine,” while another student described the entity as “frightening,” stressing that “genocide” is the strongest word in his mind.

20. Criminal complaint filed in Greece seeking arrest of Israeli soldier accused of war crimes in Gaza
The Hind Rajab Foundation filed an official criminal complaint with Greek authorities against Israeli army soldier Oran Rubin, who is currently in the capital Athens, accusing him of war crimes and genocide during his participation in the assault on the Gaza Strip.

The foundation said the soldier, who served in the 424th “Shaked” Battalion of the Givati Brigade, has been publicly linked to systematic destruction operations in Gaza. It said he personally documented his actions by publishing photographs and videos showing him standing over the ruins of Palestine Square and inside the destroyed Al-Taqwa Mosque in Gaza City.
