1. Martyrdom and air and artillery shelling east of the Strip as the occupation continues its violations**

A child was martyred by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire as their violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip continue for the 87th consecutive day, through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and the demolition of more buildings east of the Strip.
A local source reported the recovery of the body of the child Hamada Shadi Abdul Rahman Al-Fajam (14 years old) from Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, after he was targeted yesterday at the Bani Suheila roundabout, where he had been missing since yesterday.

**2. The occupation discusses 107 settlement plans in Jerusalem during 2025**

Official Palestinian data revealed that the relevant authorities in the occupying state discussed a total of 107 settlement master plans in occupied Jerusalem governorate during 2025, with the most dangerous being the “E1” plan east of the city.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission stated in its annual report, which monitors occupation violations in the West Bank including Jerusalem over the past year, that the occupation authorities’ “planning committees” studied 41 plans outside the municipality’s boundaries and 66 plans within settlements located inside the boundaries drawn by the municipality of Jerusalem.

**3. Death toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 71,391 since October 7**

Medical sources announced that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,391 martyrs and 171,279 wounded since October 7, 2023.
The sources explained that Gaza hospitals received two martyrs during the past 48 hours—one of whom was recovered from under the rubble—along with ten injured. A number of victims remain trapped under debris and on roads, while ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.

Israeli occupation police arrested 33 workers near the city of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank on the pretext of not carrying permits.
Local sources reported that the workers were detained near the Rotem settlement northeast of Tubas. Occupation police continue their campaigns inside the occupied territories—in the Galilee, the Triangle, the Negev, and coastal cities—to search for Palestinian workers from the West Bank who entered in search of a livelihood for their families.

The Palestinian Center for Prisoners’ Defense condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the campus of Birzeit University and the prevention of a peaceful event dedicated to solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in occupation prisons, considering this a dangerous escalation in the policy of targeting educational institutions and silencing voices.
The center explained that banning solidarity events inside universities constitutes a clear violation of international conventions guaranteeing freedom of opinion and expression and the right to peaceful assembly—foremost among them the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights—adding that it is also an assault on the sanctity of educational facilities, which should be protected from military interference.

San José State University in California suspended Professor Sang Hee Kil following a pro-Palestinian protest and is now seeking to dismiss her permanently.
In an interview, Kil explained the details of the incident, which dates back to February 2024, when a professor from California State University, Long Beach, was scheduled to deliver a lecture on the two-state solution at San José State University after he denied in a student newspaper that what is happening in Gaza constitutes genocide.
