Two children were injured after a wall collapsed on them in the city of Khan Younis due to a sandstorm accompanied by strong winds that struck various areas of the Gaza Strip, causing extremely low visibility and heavy dust spread in several areas.
Local sources reported that the two children were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, the wall of a cracked building collapsed onto a tent sheltering displaced people near the Gaza port west of the city. A palm tree also fell on a tent in one area of the Strip due to the strong winds.

**5. Sandstorm worsens the suffering of displaced people in Gaza**
The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip called on citizens to take necessary safety measures to protect themselves from the effects of the dusty air mass affecting Palestinian skies.
The sandstorm, carrying dust and sand, is worsening the suffering of displaced people living in tents that lack the minimum protection conditions.
The directorate urged residents to avoid leaving their homes, shelters, or tents unless absolutely necessary, especially those suffering from respiratory diseases due to the high levels of dust in the air.

**7. High prices exhaust Gaza residents… displaced people struggle to secure the simplest meals**
The specter of famine is once again looming over the Gaza Strip amid a severe shortage of food supplies due to strict restrictions imposed on commercial crossings and the greed of some local traders.
With fewer goods entering the markets, most families now depend almost entirely on charity kitchens and humanitarian initiatives that attempt to meet the needs of residents, many of whom lost their sources of income during the war.
During the month of Ramadan, daily life in the Strip has changed significantly: the tables that once gathered families around multiple dishes have disappeared, replaced by simple meals barely sufficient to break the fast. Many families now find themselves unable to provide more than a single dish on the table under the harsh economic conditions they are experiencing.

The organization said on its official website that its teams had delivered shipments to the crossing but were not allowed to collect them, including around 50 intensive-care beds and 170 shipments of medicines. According to the weekly schedule, no incoming supplies will be unloaded at the crossing.

**14. British mercenary documents the brutality of occupation forces against starving civilians in Gaza**
A video published by British mercenary David McIntosh showing Israeli soldiers firing at Palestinian civilians waiting for food aid in the Gaza Strip has renewed attention to what critics describe as brutal crimes against starving civilians.
According to McIntosh, the footage he recorded while working with a joint force securing aid distribution points run by the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” shows Israeli soldiers stationed on tanks firing toward civilians gathered near the distribution sites.
These sites had previously witnessed the deaths of hundreds of people while waiting to receive food.
The British recruit said that witnessing these scenes was “painful,” noting that he worked in Gaza alongside American soldiers as part of a joint force helping to secure aid distribution operations.

South Africa submitted its official memorial in October 2024 supported by more than 4,000 pages of documents and evidence.
More than 12 countries have requested to join the case, suggesting a potentially long legal battle at the Peace Palace in The Hague.

**16. Boycott campaigns hit the revenues of the film Scream 7**
The film *Scream 7* saw its box-office revenue drop by 74% during its second weekend, marking the worst performance in the history of the franchise by a wide margin.
This decline came after a boycott campaign that included widespread protests outside the film’s premiere at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles at the end of February.
Hundreds of cinema workers and artists participated in the campaign, calling for an end to cooperation with Israeli institutions and rejecting attempts to normalize or whitewash ongoing crimes in Palestine.
Mexican actress Melissa Barrera was removed from the film because of her support for Palestinians, which led Jenna Ortega and the original director to withdraw in solidarity.
