1. Health: 7 killed and 18 injured in Gaza within 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 7 people were killed, including one body recovered, and 18 injured were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, as a result of the Israeli assault on the territory.
The ministry stated in its statistical report that the total number of deaths since the ceasefire (October 10) has reached 817, while the number of injured stands at 2,296, and the total number of recovered bodies has risen to 762.
It added that the cumulative toll since the beginning of the assault on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,593 deaths and 172,399 injured.

**2. Settler attacks, demolition notices, and land leveling north of Jerusalem and Jenin**

Israeli violations in the West Bank have escalated, including attacks carried out by settlers against civilians south of Nablus and demolition notices targeting dozens of structures north of Jerusalem, alongside road closures and the leveling of agricultural lands in Jenin. This comes within a rapidly evolving situation on the ground imposing further restrictions on Palestinians.
In southern Nablus, a civilian was injured following an attack by settlers on the village of Jalud. Local sources reported that a group of settlers assaulted residents in the “al-Dhahr” area, causing bruises to one individual who was transferred for medical treatment.
In northern occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces issued demolition notices for dozens of commercial and residential structures in the towns of al-Ram and Kafr Aqab, as well as Qalandiya camp. The Jerusalem Governorate explained that the notices were delivered under the pretext of building without permits.

The Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies revealed a dangerous escalation in the targeting of Palestinian children through arrests and violations since the outbreak of the war on Gaza in October 2023, noting more than 1,800 arrests among minors, some as young as 10 years old.
The center confirmed that these arrests are not random but part of a systematic policy targeting Palestinian childhood, within a broader context of escalating repression, pointing out that tens of thousands of children have been arrested since the beginning of the occupation of Palestinian territories.

Hassan Abu Riala, Deputy Minister of Economy in Gaza, said that the Israeli war “has not stopped, but has changed its tools and forms,” considering the siege one of the harshest forms of warfare.
He explained that the authorities “use the siege as a tool to pressure the population,” controlling the details of daily life and creating a distorted economic reality that deepens humanitarian crises. He added that they restrict the entry of aid and goods and limit the work of relief organizations.

The public health and food crisis is worsening, especially among children, amid medical and official warnings of serious consequences threatening the lives of thousands. The head of the pediatrics department at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that malnutrition remains a serious threat to children, along with the spread of infectious and environmental diseases, warning of the continued deterioration of the health situation in the Strip.

A child and a young man were injured during escalating settler attacks on the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, alongside renewed assaults west of al-Auja.
Local sources reported that settlers attacked residents in the al-Dhahr area of Jalud, injuring a child in the head with a stone and causing bruises to a young man.
Meanwhile, settlers stormed a residential gathering of the Arab al-Ka’abneh family west of al-Auja, north of Jericho, accompanied by herds of camels.

**7. Plan to build 643 settlement units in the West Bank under review**

The Israeli movement “Peace Now,” which monitors settlements, revealed that the Higher Planning Council of the army will discuss next Wednesday a plan to build 643 settlement units across various parts of the occupied West Bank.
The movement said that 126 of these units are expected to receive final approval in the settlement of Sanur in Jenin Governorate.
