1. 3 martyrs and several injured in an Israeli strike on a police monitoring point west of Gaza
Three civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a police monitoring point near Haidar Roundabout west of Gaza City.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security stated that Israeli aircraft targeted a guard post belonging to a security headquarters in the Ansar area west of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of three security officers and personnel and the serious injury of a fourth. Several civilians were also injured in the attack.

2. 9 martyrs and 39 injured due to the Israeli assault on Gaza in the past 24 hours
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 9 deaths and 39 injuries during the past 24 hours as a result of the continuing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
In its daily statement, the ministry explained that 6 of the victims were killed in recent Israeli attacks, while 3 others died from previous wounds. Hospitals continue to receive casualties caused by the bombardment.

3. Escalating violations against isolated prisoners in Janot prison amid medical negligence
The Prisoners’ Information Office confirmed the escalation of violations against prisoners held in isolation in “Janot” prison under harsh detention conditions and ongoing medical negligence.
The office explained that prisoners continue to suffer from skin diseases, especially scabies, due to the lack of regular healthcare and poor living conditions. They also continue to suffer from itching and infections without receiving adequate treatment, in addition to being deprived of clothing and essential needs.

The International Al-Quds Foundation released the full version of the “State of Jerusalem 2025” report, highlighting the escalation of Israeli policies aimed at erasing the identity of the holy city, alongside the ongoing war on Gaza and escalation in the West Bank.
The report stated that the occupation is waging a comprehensive war targeting the Palestinian people, holy sites, and historical narrative, while also attempting to eliminate the right of return by targeting UNRWA and escalating violations against Palestinian prisoners.

5. Occupation forces and settlers escalate attacks on agricultural lands in the West Bank
Israeli occupation forces and settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinian agricultural lands in the northern Jordan Valley, southern Hebron, and northwest Nablus by demolishing agricultural greenhouses, destroying crops, and chasing farmers and shepherds, in addition to setting up a new settlement tent.
In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli bulldozers demolished several plastic agricultural greenhouses near the village of Bardala belonging to local farmers months after demolition notices were issued.

6. Israel plans to establish two settlements in the Jordan Valley as part of settlement expansion plans
Israeli reports revealed that the Israeli government is moving this summer toward establishing two new settlements in the northern occupied West Bank as part of an accelerated settlement plan aimed at strengthening control over the Jordan Valley and imposing new realities on the ground before any possible political changes.
The Hebrew website “Ynet” reported that the two new settlements, “Bezek” and “Tamon,” will be established in the Jordan Valley region in the northern West Bank at strategic locations overlooking the Jordan Valley and near what the Israeli army calls the “village pentagon,” which includes Tubas, Tamon, Tayasir, Aqaba, and Al-Far’a refugee camp.

7. Rats gnaw at Gaza’s children inside tents as UNRWA warns of a “health collapse”
Health and environmental conditions in the Gaza Strip continue to deteriorate with the spread of rats and parasites inside displacement camps amid the ongoing Israeli blockade and the prevention of medical supplies and pesticides from entering the territory. This threatens residents with further diseases and epidemics, especially children living in overcrowded tents lacking the minimum necessities of life.
UNRWA stated that rats are now biting children while they sleep inside the tents, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian and health deterioration experienced by displaced people in Gaza.

8. Jerusalem warning over settlement project to establish a heritage center in occupied Jerusalem
The Jerusalem Governorate warned against the Israeli government’s expected approval next week of a project to establish a colonial heritage center at the site of Jerusalem International Airport in the town of Qalandia north of occupied Jerusalem.
The project was initiated by Israeli Heritage Minister Rabbi Amichai Eliyahu, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the “Entebbe” military operation carried out by the Israeli army in Uganda in 1976.

10. Settlers race against time to establish 20 settlements in the West Bank
The Hebrew newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that settlers in the occupied West Bank are racing against time to establish dozens of settlements before the upcoming elections in October.
The newspaper stated that settlement councils in the northern West Bank decided to begin building two settlements out of 20 recently approved settlements within the next two months.
The two settlements, “Tamon” and “Bezek,” will be built on Palestinian land in the northern Jordan Valley near the towns of Tamon and Tubas.

12. Spanish actor Bardem excluded from film projects due to his support for Palestine at the Oscars
Spanish actor Javier Bardem confirmed in an interview with “Variety” that his exclusion came after wearing solidarity symbols and chanting “Freedom for Palestine” during the 98th Academy Awards ceremony last March.

13. Massive march in London to commemorate the Nakba and confront the far right
The Palestine Coalition and the organization “Stand Up To Racism” agreed with London’s Metropolitan Police on the route of the march marking the 78th anniversary of the Nakba on May 16.
The march will begin in South Kensington alongside the Israeli embassy and continue to Pall Mall near government headquarters.

Palestinian director Omar Rammal won the David di Donatello Award for Best Short Film for his documentary “Every Day in Gaza,” which documents daily life in the Gaza Strip under Israeli bombardment and blockade.
While accepting the award, Rammal delivered an emotional speech saying the prize “does not belong to him,” but rather to the journalists, photographers, and field workers inside Gaza who risked their lives to convey the truth from the heart of the war.
