1. One martyr in Jabalia… Widespread destruction west of Gaza and stalled ceasefire negotiations
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip by intensifying air and artillery bombardments and targeting areas inhabited by displaced civilians, in addition to demolition and destruction operations inside what is known as the “yellow line,” while restrictions on the movement of goods, aid, and travel continue.
A Palestinian was killed and another injured after an Israeli strike targeted a motorcycle in the Al-Faluja area west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, while various areas across the Strip witnessed continuous gunfire and artillery shelling.

2. Occupation establishes a new settlement outpost and carries out raids and arrests in the West Bank
Various areas across the West Bank witnessed a new escalation by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, including raids, arrests, and assaults against residents, alongside the establishment of a new settlement outpost west of Salfit amid increasing organized settler attacks on Palestinian lands.
In the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, dozens of Palestinians suffered suffocation after occupation forces stormed the town and fired stun grenades and toxic gas toward residents and their homes.
Media activist Mohammad Awad stated that occupation forces invaded the town and fired large amounts of toxic gas, causing dozens of suffocation cases among civilians.

3. Occupation expands annexation and isolation network in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation government continues accelerating settlement expansion projects in the occupied West Bank by expanding the network of bypass roads linking settlements to one another and to Israel proper. Palestinians view this move as deepening annexation and geographic isolation policies while reshaping the demographic and geographic map of the West Bank at the expense of Palestinian communities.
In this context, the National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements revealed that Israeli authorities allocated more than one billion additional shekels for the construction of new bypass roads in the West Bank to serve settlement expansion projects and strengthen settlement infrastructure.

4. Settlers desecrate a Palestinian grave in the northern West Bank under Israeli army protection
Israeli settlers, under the protection and support of occupation soldiers, forced a Palestinian family to exhume the body of one of their relatives and transfer it elsewhere in an incident that took place in the village of Al-Asaasa in the northern occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli newspaper “Maariv.”
The newspaper claimed that the occupation army opened an investigation into the incident, while a military official called for a police investigation against the settlers involved.

5. Human rights center: shrinking geographic space and expanding restricted zones increases displacement risk in Gaza
The Gaza Center for Human Rights expressed deep concern and condemnation regarding recent field developments in the Gaza Strip, which reflect a dangerous escalation in Israeli occupation policies aimed at imposing facts by force and reducing the geographic space available to civilians, alongside ongoing daily bombardments and near-daily casualties.
The center stated that its field team documented occupation forces once again expanding the “yellow zone” east of Khan Younis by moving yellow markers opposite Dar Al Salam Hospital to align with Salah Al-Din Road, forcing companies and displaced civilians to leave the area for fear of being targeted.

Engineer Mahmoud Al-Seifi, director of the Land Research Center in Nablus and an expert on settlement affairs, warned of a dangerous escalation in the “agricultural genocide” policy carried out by the Israeli occupation against olive trees in the occupied West Bank, stressing that 2026 began with alarming indicators surpassing previous years in severity.
Al-Seifi reported that the occupation issued more than 20 military orders since the beginning of 2026 aimed at removing olive trees from an area exceeding 750 dunams adjacent to roads and main streets in the occupied West Bank under the pretext of “security reasons.”

“Jan Koum” donated funds to “Shaare Zedek” Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, in what the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” described as the largest support ever provided to the Israeli healthcare system.
This funding, equivalent to 580 million shekels, aims to expand the hospital and develop its infrastructure serving settlers and occupation forces in the occupied city.
The financial support will also triple the hospital’s capacity, exceeding the current 1,000 beds and strengthening the efficiency of facilities linked to the occupation.

16. HSBC ends relationship with “Elbit Systems” weapons manufacturer over genocide involvement
HSBC completely divested all of its shares in “Elbit Systems” following an intense grassroots pressure campaign. Reports issued on April 30 showed that the bank disposed of its final holding of 651 shares, ending an investment that had previously exceeded $8 million in the Zionist weapons system.
This retreat came after a series of actions carried out by the organization “Peoples Against Genocide,” including vandalizing and smashing the fronts of more than 10 bank branches in the United Kingdom since December 2025.
