1. Two martyrs and two injured in an Israeli strike on Khan Younis

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks east of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip has risen after the announcement of a child’s death from previous injuries, while a new drone strike resulted in the killing of a young man and injuries to others.
Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which came into effect on October 10 last year.

2. Prisoners Club: Israel moving forward with the death penalty for Palestinians

The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that amendments introduced to military orders applied in the occupied West Bank, which expand the implementation of the death penalty against Palestinian prisoners before Israeli military courts, represent a new and dangerous escalation against Palestinians.
The organization explained that these amendments come about two months after the approval of the so-called “Prisoners Execution Law,” and shortly after the approval of the establishment of special courts for Gaza detainees accused by Israeli authorities of participating in the events of October 7, 2023.

3. Gaza loses 76% of medical imaging equipment amid collapse of healthcare services

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip confirmed that medical imaging services in the remaining operational hospitals are facing severe challenges due to the extensive destruction inflicted on the healthcare system during the war.
The sources indicated that Gaza has lost 76% of its medical imaging devices, while the remaining equipment — only 24% — operates under extremely difficult technical conditions, with increasing demand for services and major difficulties in maintenance and obtaining spare parts.

4. Palestinian dies from wounds caused by Israeli gunfire in Hebron

A young Palestinian man died from injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in the town of Beit Ula, north of Hebron.
In a brief statement, the Ministry of Health announced that Mahmoud Ziad Al-Amleh, 32, died from critical injuries caused by Israeli gunfire in the town.
He had been transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron in extremely critical condition after suffering a head injury and was admitted to intensive care before his death was announced.

6. Hebrew media: Military order allows execution of Palestinian prisoners from the West Bank

The Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” revealed that the commander of the Israeli army’s Central Command, Avi Blot, signed a military order granting military courts in the West Bank the authority to issue death sentences against Palestinian prisoners if convicted of killing Israelis motivated by “denying the existence of the State of Israel.”
According to the newspaper, the law also includes a clause allowing military courts to replace the death penalty with life imprisonment if there are “special reasons” or “exceptional circumstances.” The law does not apply to members of Hamas’ elite unit involved in the October 7, 2023 attack, as a separate law was enacted for them.

7. Israel approves establishment of official headquarters on UNRWA land in Jerusalem

The Israeli government approved the construction of an office for Defense Minister Israel Katz, an army museum, and a recruitment office on land belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) compound in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
According to a joint statement by the Ministry of Defense and the Jerusalem Municipality, the facilities will be built on the land of the UNRWA headquarters that Israel declared confiscated last January after storming the site and destroying facilities inside.

8. Hind Rajab Foundation demands investigation into Israeli soldier involved in Gaza destruction currently in Amsterdam

The international human rights organization Hind Rajab Foundation filed a complaint with Dutch prosecutors demanding an urgent criminal investigation into Israeli soldier Shmuel Asulin, currently in Amsterdam, for alleged involvement in the destruction of civilian facilities during the war on the Gaza Strip.
The foundation stated that Asulin served as a sergeant in the “Netzah Yehuda” Battalion of the Israeli “Kfir” Brigade and posted videos on Instagram from inside Gaza’s Palace of Justice before later showing footage of the court building being blown up, which the foundation says was the same building.

Fans and activists raised slogans in the Irish language demanding the immediate removal of the company under the hashtag “Allianz Amach” and calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza, rejecting the continuation of the sports league’s partnership with a financial entity accused of supporting the Israeli war machine.
These field and online protests come after human rights reports classified Allianz as the largest private investor in Israeli war bonds, in addition to increasing direct investments in military manufacturing companies supplying weapons to the Israeli army.

11. Three members resign from Belgian cultural center in protest over hosting Israeli conductor

The collective resignations occurred in the Belgian capital Brussels after the center’s administration insisted on organizing a concert by the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Israeli Lahav Shani, who also serves as the music director of the Tel Aviv Philharmonic Orchestra.
Director and actor Mohamed Ouachen announced his resignation in rejection of granting legitimacy to cultural complicity with the occupation. Former parliamentarian Jos Geysels and member Els Silvrants Barkley joined him, while center director Christophe Slagmuylder maintained the invitation despite public anger and boycott campaigns targeting Shani in Europe over the war in Gaza.

14. From Google to Amazon: protests against using artificial intelligence in the war on Palestine

17. Israeli navy attacks “Steadfastness Flotilla” heading to Gaza

Israeli naval forces launched an operation to seize control of the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla” heading toward the Gaza Strip after it departed last Thursday from Turkish shores in a renewed attempt to break the blockade imposed on the territory.
An activist aboard the flotilla told Al Jazeera Mubasher that contact had been lost with around 23 vessels following the Israeli interception operation.
She also reported that Israeli forces arrested 180 activists aboard the intercepted boats and ships.

18. Israel abducts activists from the Steadfastness Flotilla in violation of international law

The Samidoun network for the defense of Palestinian prisoners reported that Israel abducted several activists from the “Steadfastness Flotilla” in what it described as evidence of criminal behavior and disregard for international law.
The network considered the attack an extension of the repression and intimidation policies practiced against all humanitarian solidarity efforts with the Palestinian people.
It also pointed out that the targeted activists come from multiple nationalities and belong to various unions and humanitarian fields, confirming the international nature of solidarity with Gaza.
