1. One woman killed and 16 injured in Khan Younis due to ongoing violations of the truce

A Palestinian girl was killed and 16 civilians were injured as a result of a new series of Israeli violations of the ceasefire and truce agreement in the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Nasser Medical Complex reported the arrival of one fatality and 16 injured individuals at the hospital following an attack carried out by Israeli helicopters targeting tents of displaced people west of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

**2. ARIJ: Israeli orders to seize 20,000 dunams in the West Bank**

The Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) stated that Israeli occupation authorities issued, on March 5, a new booklet of military orders paving the way for the seizure of 20,000 dunams across 15 locations in the occupied West Bank.
ARIJ explained that the orders include further land confiscation, entrenching a new demographic and geographic reality, and granting a “legal” character to expansionist practices that contradict international law, contributing to undermining and restricting the use of Palestinian land.

**3. On its 59th anniversary: the occupation continues imposing chapters of the Naksa on Palestine**

On June 5 each year, Palestinians and Arabs commemorate the 1967 war, known as the “Naksa” (setback), which marked a pivotal turning point in the history of the Palestinian cause and the region. The war ended with the occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, in addition to Syria’s Golan Heights and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula at the time.
This year’s 59th anniversary comes as the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip continues and settlement expansion, arrests, and military operations intensify in the West Bank, reflecting the ongoing consequences of the Naksa and occupation policies that have entrenched military control and prevented a just resolution to the Palestinian issue.

**4. Two injured, one critically, during Israeli raid and settler attacks west of Hebron**

Two Palestinian citizens were injured, one of them critically, after Israeli forces opened fire and settlers carried out assaults during a raid on the al-Jalatiya area east of Idhna town, west of Hebron.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with two injuries in the area: one citizen shot twice in the abdomen and described as in critical condition, and another assaulted and beaten by settlers.

**5. Doctor Hossam Abu Safiya placed in solitary confinement in Nafha prison after appealing his detention**

The defense team of Palestinian doctor Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, revealed that the Israeli Prison Service transferred him from Negev prison to solitary confinement in the desert Nafha prison under harsh detention conditions and deprivation of necessary medical treatment.
Lawyer Nasser Odeh confirmed that the transfer and isolation decision came as a direct punitive measure after an appeal was filed against the continuation of Abu Safiya’s detention, noting that his client had recently been subjected to threats and pressure by intelligence officers and prison authorities.

**6. Young man killed and body withheld during Israeli raid north of Ramallah**

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the killing of a Palestinian youth by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the village of Beitin, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The General Authority of Civil Affairs reported that Haitham Ezzedine Omar Hamida (18 years old) was killed after being shot, while Israeli forces withheld his body.

**7. Widespread arrests and raids during Israeli incursions across the West Bank**

Israeli forces carried out a large-scale campaign of raids and incursions in several cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank, including searches and arrests of a number of citizens.
The raids targeted al-Dhahiriya and Beit Ummar in Hebron governorate, as well as Taqoa southeast of Bethlehem and Hizma north of occupied Jerusalem.

**8. Settlers assault citizens and destroy agricultural and electrical equipment south of Tubas**

Settlers attacked two young men while they were guarding a water pump at an agricultural well in the Atouf area southeast of Tubas.
Local sources reported that four settlers wearing military clothing assaulted the two men guarding the electrical room of an artesian well belonging to farmer Nazir Mohammad Basharat, before storming the room and tampering with the electrical panel, causing the well to stop pumping water.
The settlers also raided the homes of five families living in nearby Khirbet al-Ras al-Ahmar, assaulted them, destroyed electricity networks, damaged cameras, and threatened them with eviction within days.

**9. Gaza oncologist warns: cancer treatments depleted and rising deaths threaten thousands**

The head of the Oncology Department at the Gaza Cancer Center, Saleh Sheikh Eid, warned of the worsening health crisis facing cancer patients in the Gaza Strip, stressing that cases are increasing significantly while medicines and treatments are sharply declining.
He explained that some essential treatments have reached zero stock in warehouses, and that border closures and preventing patients from traveling have deepened their suffering and increased deaths. Most prescriptions now are limited to painkillers, whose effectiveness declines as the disease progresses, amid the absence of necessary specialized treatments.

Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called on opposition members in the Knesset to vote in favor of a resolution aimed at strengthening settlement expansion in the West Bank, with the stated goal of “eliminating the idea of a Palestinian state” and encouraging the transfer of “one million settlers” to occupy the West Bank.

Activists in Beasain in Spain’s Basque Country targeted CAF tram cars with red paint and protest slogans, accusing the company of complicity with Israel through infrastructure projects such as the Jerusalem Light Rail linking settlements.
The action coincided with a shareholders’ meeting, while 83 international organizations have listed CAF as a “key facilitator” of the occupation due to its role in projects serving settlements in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

The shoes were hung on the park’s trees during peak cherry blossom season, in a symbolic scene conveying solidarity and documenting the victims of what organizers described as genocide in Gaza. The installation aims to honor Palestinian children and highlight the scale of ongoing humanitarian losses by transforming public space into an area of remembrance.

During the television broadcast of the NBA Finals game featuring the New York Knicks, a campaign advertisement aired featuring several progressive candidates in New York known for condemning Israeli crimes and supporting Palestinian rights.
Zohran Mamdani appeared alongside candidates Darleiza Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez as part of a campaign promoting their bids in congressional primary elections within New York State.

**18. The Guardian: Microsoft tightens human rights controls after allegations of monitoring Palestinians**

Microsoft announced it is strengthening its human rights safeguards when dealing with national security agencies following an internal investigation into the Israeli army’s use of its cloud technologies in large-scale surveillance of Palestinians, according to The Guardian.
The announcement follows allegations of data theft involving Palestinians and its use in what was described as a “war of genocide,” as well as acknowledgments by some company employees. Microsoft stated that the investigation has concluded and that new measures have been adopted to reinforce its commitment to human rights principles.

**19. UN calls for decisive action to stop Israeli violations in Palestinian territories**

The Arab Group at the United Nations called on the international community to take decisive steps and decisions to halt ongoing Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement delivered by Saudi Arabia’s UN representative Abdulaziz Al-Wasel during a press conference at the UN Security Council, the group rejected all measures aimed at changing the legal and historical status of the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem. The group held Israel responsible for continued settlement expansion and undermining Palestinian rights, warning against policies seeking to impose new realities on the ground.

South Korea’s capital Seoul witnessed a press conference opposing the opening of the “Pompidou Hanwha Center,” a contemporary art museum, where 11 civil organizations accused the Hanwha Group—whose defense sector includes companies such as Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Aerospace—of complicity with Israeli arms companies in the killing of Palestinian civilians and of “whitewashing the occupation” through cultural projects.

Reporters Without Borders revealed testimonies from five Palestinian journalists from Gaza who were arrested by Israeli forces after October 7, 2023, including Alaa al-Sarraj, Diaa al-Kahlout, Shadi Abu Sido, and Imad al-Ifranji. The organization documented accounts of arrest, interrogation, and violations directly linked to their journalistic work.
The report confirmed that the detained journalists reported harsh treatment and interrogations focused on their media activities, in addition to repeated violations committed by Israeli forces and security services during their detention.
