1. Three killed in ongoing Israeli ceasefire violations in Gaza

Three civilians were killed and several others injured after an Israeli strike targeted an area near Abu Khadra Mosque in the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that the attack resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to several others of varying severity, amid continued Israeli airstrikes and attacks across different areas of the Gaza Strip.

### 2. Prisoners’ Defense Center launches “Who’s Next?” campaign following the death of prisoner Imad Sarhan

The Palestinian Center for the Defense of Prisoners announced the launch of a media campaign titled **“Who’s Next?”** following the death of prisoner Imad Sarhan inside Israeli prisons.

Sarhan is considered the 90th prisoner to die among Palestinian detainees since the beginning of the war nearly two years ago, and the 327th martyr recorded among Palestinian prisoners since 1967.

The center’s director, Lina Al-Tawil, stated that the campaign is a warning cry and an appeal to the international community, stressing that continued silence regarding conditions inside prisons means that more prisoners may lose their lives.

### 3. Israel issues demolition orders for nine inhabited homes in Ash-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron

Israeli forces have issued demolition notices for nine inhabited homes in the town of Ash-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

The mayor of Ash-Shuyukh, Hassan Halaika, said that the notices targeted homes in the Qanan Niyas area. He explained that about a month ago, Israeli authorities had ordered construction work on the homes to stop, citing a lack of permits, despite residents having submitted all required legal documents and paperwork for licensing procedures.

Faisal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Services in Tulkarm refugee camp, revealed the extent of the destruction caused by the ongoing Israeli military operation in the camp.

According to Salama, 1,100 housing units have been completely destroyed, while around 4,000 others have suffered damage of up to 90%.

He stated that since October 7, 2023, Tulkarm camp has experienced unprecedented destruction and geographical changes due to continuing Israeli military operations.

The Prisoners’ Media Office disclosed new details about a large-scale crackdown carried out by the administration of Damon Prison against Palestinian female detainees on May 13.

According to the office, the operation included physical and psychological abuse and degrading violations of human dignity. Special prison units reportedly raided the detainees’ rooms one after another, forcing them to lie face down on the floor with their hands tied behind their backs for long hours before subjecting them to beatings, dragging, and mistreatment.

### 6. Palestine Center: Scabies is a hidden weapon used against prisoners

The Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies stated that Israeli authorities use numerous methods to prolong prisoners’ suffering and harm them physically and psychologically during detention and even after release.

Among these methods, the center identified **scabies** as one of the most significant “hidden weapons” used against prisoners.

The center explained that more than 90% of prisoners have contracted scabies, a contagious skin disease that spreads rapidly and initially causes redness before developing into severe itching, rashes, skin irritation, inflammation, and intense pain. Without effective treatment, it can develop into serious ulcers requiring specialist medical care and hospitalization.
