1. Four killed, several injured in Al-Mawasi and Nuseirat

Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, several others were injured in the attack. The victims were identified as Mahmoud Abdelrazek Mohammed Al-Barim, 43, and Youssef Qassem Abu Khater, 60.

In central Gaza, another Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded after an Israeli strike hit a motorcycle near Muadh ibn Jabal Mosque in the new camp north of Nuseirat.

**2. Jerusalem: 11 Palestinians killed, 866 arrested in first half of 2026**

Eleven Palestinians were killed, 191 injured and 866 arrested by Israeli forces in Jerusalem Governorate during the first half of 2026, according to a report issued by the governorate documenting a sharp rise in violations against Palestinians and Islamic holy sites.

Among the fatalities, three were killed by Israeli settlers and eight by Israeli forces. Two of the victims were workers shot while attempting to reach their workplaces near the separation barrier in Al-Ram.

**3. Social Development Ministry: War leaves tens of thousands of orphans and widows in Gaza**

Gaza’s Deputy Minister of Social Development, Riyad Al-Baytar, said the territory is facing an unprecedented recovery crisis, with more than 80 percent of residents having lost their homes.

According to the ministry, the war has left more than 75,000 children orphaned, having lost one or both parents, over 68,000 sole surviving family members, and around 45,000 widows. Of those, 28,000 lost their spouses during the latest war, including approximately 8,000 cases recorded since October 7, 2023.

**4. Gaza Health Ministry updates death toll after 1,000 days of war**

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,074 since the war began on October 7, 2023.

The ministry said that since the ceasefire, 1,059 people have been killed in what it described as violations of the truce, while 3,429 others have been injured and 788 bodies recovered.

**5. Twelve days without the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque**

Israeli authorities have completed the final stages of a project to roof the courtyard of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, while maintaining strict restrictions on access to the site.

Authorities have also continued to prevent the Islamic Waqf administration from broadcasting the call to prayer and have barred the mosque’s muezzin from accessing the prayer call room.

**6. One thousand days of war in Gaza: a devastating toll**

According to available data, more than 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza are facing extreme humanitarian conditions. More than 90 percent of the Strip has reportedly been destroyed, while over 80 percent of the territory is under Israeli military control.

The Al-Mawasi area, promoted as a humanitarian zone, has reportedly been struck 241 times, while more than 223,000 tons of explosives have been dropped on Gaza.

**7. Israel accused of using suspension of prison yard time as collective punishment**

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office said Israeli prison authorities have turned the cancellation of daily outdoor exercise into a form of collective punishment.

The organization also reported severe shortages of hygiene supplies, reduced food rations, and the continued spread of scabies among detainees amid inadequate medical care.

**8. Gaza municipalities warn of collapse in essential services**

The Union of Gaza Municipalities warned of the rapid deterioration of essential municipal services, particularly water, sewage and solid waste management.

According to the union, continued attacks on infrastructure and restrictions on the entry of maintenance equipment threaten the complete collapse of municipal services.

**9. Six high school students arrested during final exams**

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said Israeli forces arrested six secondary school students while they were taking their final examinations, preventing them from completing their education.

**10. Al-Dameer: 107 Palestinians killed in Gaza during June**

The Al-Dameer Human Rights Foundation said it documented the deaths of 107 Palestinians in Gaza during June, including 14 children and 13 women.

The organization accused Israeli forces of continuing attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in violation of international humanitarian law.
