1. Two Palestinians killed and several injured in an Israeli strike in northern Gaza
Two Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
According to local sources, two people were killed and four others were injured, some critically, after an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near Dar al-Arqam School in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
2. Palestinian Journalists Forum calls on the Committee to Protect Journalists to reverse the removal of 20 journalists from the list of those killed
The Palestinian Journalists Forum condemned the decision by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) to remove the names of 20 Palestinian journalists from its list of journalists killed during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip.
The Forum called on the CPJ to immediately reverse its decision, accusing the organization of adopting the Israeli narrative.
The Forum stated that the Committee’s decision to remove the names of the 20 journalists in response to organized pressure campaigns led by pro-Israeli media outlets such as Free Beacon and The Times of Israel reflects “a moral and professional decline.”
3. Settlement escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem: New outposts and road closures
Israeli settlers have intensified settlement activities and attacks in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, establishing new settlement outposts in several areas.
Settlers established a new outpost on land belonging to the town of Kafr Ra’i, southwest of Jenin.
A group of settlers also bulldozed agricultural land owned by the Abu al-Shawarib family in the al-Qarin area north of the town and erected a tent there as a preliminary step toward taking control of hundreds of dunams of Palestinian-owned land, which Israeli authorities have prevented the owners from accessing for years.
4. Palestinian killed by Israeli forces in Lod over alleged stabbing attempt
A Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the city of Lod, within the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, after being accused of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
Israeli radio reported that police opened fire on a young Palestinian in Lod, claiming that he had attempted to stab Israeli police officers.
5. One thousand days of ongoing genocide and continued lack of accountability in Gaza
Israeli forces continue to commit acts described as genocide in the Gaza Strip as the one-thousandth day since the beginning of this campaign approaches, amid ongoing mass killings, systematic destruction, and continued international failure to take effective action to stop the crimes or hold those responsible accountable.
The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights stated that developments on the ground reflect a consistent pattern of targeting civilian life in all its forms, with attacks expanding to include temporary shelters, public gathering places, and residential neighborhoods, leaving no safe haven anywhere in the Strip and turning daily life into an environment unfit for its residents.
6. Palestinian police in Gaza pay a heavy blood price to preserve internal security and prevent chaos
July 1 marks Palestinian Police Day, which this year comes amid the continuing war in the Gaza Strip.
According to the statement, officers and personnel of the Palestinian civil police have become continuous targets of Israeli airstrikes and shelling aimed at preventing them from carrying out their humanitarian and public service duties.
The Palestinian police stated that nearly 2,000 commanders, officers, and personnel have been killed while on duty, including senior commanders such as Major General Tawfiq Jaber and Major General Mahmoud Salah, in addition to thousands of wounded personnel and detainees.
7. Israeli authorities issue demolition orders for three inhabited homes in Susya, south of Hebron
Israeli forces issued demolition notices for three inhabited homes in the village of Susya, south of Hebron.
Local sources said Israeli forces entered the village and delivered demolition orders for the homes, which shelter more than 20 people and belong to Khader al-Nawaja’a, Hussein Radi al-Nawaja’a, and Mahmoud Mohsen al-Nawaja’a.

9. Video: Activists target shipping company accused of supporting Israel
Pro-Palestinian activists protested outside the headquarters of logistics company DSV in Hamburg, Germany, over its alleged role in transporting weapons for the Israeli defense company Elbit Systems.
10. European academics vote to boycott Israeli universities accused of complicity in genocide
Following the vote, the European group committed to ending participation in events organized or sponsored by Israeli academic institutions, refusing to establish institutional partnerships with them, and rejecting financial support from such institutions.
The academics also pledged not to organize or fund normalization projects based on what they described as the false political premise of equating the oppressor with the oppressed, while urging researchers and students worldwide to launch similar initiatives within their own academic institutions and associations.
11. Protest in Paris against partnerships supporting the occupation
A mass demonstration took place in Paris following a solidarity coalition’s call for public pressure to end commercial and economic partnerships with the Israeli government and strengthen boycott efforts.
During the march, activist Olivia Zemor, president of the EuroPalestine association, was reportedly physically assaulted by a woman because of her public support for Palestine while leading the demonstration through central Paris in protest against the ongoing war.
12. Canadian campaign condemns Marc Miller’s alleged role in pressure to cancel Nakba exhibition
Activists and human rights organizations in Canada launched a large online campaign involving around 10,000 Canadians to pressure Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Marc Miller to stop what they describe as political interference aimed at silencing Palestinian history at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
The campaign followed what organizers described as the minister’s yielding to Israeli pressure and his recent remarks criticizing the planned Nakba exhibition, claiming it contained “errors and shortcomings that need to be corrected.”
13. Teacher wears the Palestinian keffiyeh during school graduation ceremony in Madrid
A teacher and activist with the organization “Voices for Palestine,” Adrian, wore a Palestinian keffiyeh during a graduation ceremony at a public school in Madrid to draw attention to the situation of students living under occupation.
The symbolic gesture was intended to highlight the plight of children in Gaza and the West Bank who have been deprived of education because of the ongoing conflict, as well as those killed inside their classrooms by Israeli gunfire and shelling.

14. New York City Council passes legislation requiring police report on restrictions of student protests
The New York City Council approved legislation requiring the Police Commissioner to submit an official report detailing department policies regarding the establishment of “security buffer zones” around schools and childcare centers, while excluding universities, libraries, and teaching hospitals.
The measure was passed after Mayor Zohran Mamdani vetoed an earlier proposal that would have extended such buffer zones to university campuses, arguing that it would have restricted freedom of expression and political protest.
15. Court documents reveal New York drone company supplied weapons-related technology to Israel
Court documents unsealed during a criminal trial in June revealed that the U.S.-based company Easy Aerial, operating on New York City-owned property, sold drones to Elbit Systems, one of Israel’s largest defense manufacturers.
The documents reportedly show that the company, founded by a former Israeli soldier and operating from the Brooklyn Navy Yard while presenting itself as a business specializing in “fine arts and photography,” was involved in supplying drone technology to the Israeli defense sector.
16. Israel grants the United States land expropriated from Palestinians for construction of its Jerusalem embassy
Israel and the United States signed an agreement granting Washington a plot of land in occupied Jerusalem that had previously belonged to Palestinian owners for the symbolic price of one dollar, to serve as the permanent site of the U.S. Embassy.
According to a statement from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee signed the agreement in the presence of Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, officially allocating the land for construction of the permanent U.S. Embassy complex.
