1. Two killed and others injured by occupation gunfire, artillery shelling and airstrikes on Gaza
Two citizens were killed and others were injured in attacks by Israeli occupation forces, as violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip continue through shelling and gunfire.
A source in the ambulance and emergency services reported that one person was killed and others injured in an Israeli drone strike west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

2. Young man killed by occupation forces in Jerusalem
A young man was killed by Israeli occupation police gunfire near Damascus Gate in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that occupation police opened fire on the young man after claiming that he had attempted to stab one of their officers. He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been established.

3. Neonatal unit at Al-Tahrir Hospital: overcrowding threatens care for premature babies
The neonatal unit at Al-Tahrir Hospital, part of the Nasser Medical Complex, is experiencing increasing pressure amid a rise in the number of children requiring specialized medical care, particularly premature infants and cases suffering from respiratory diseases and complications.
Conditions inside the unit reveal the scale of the pressure facing neonatal care services. On one occasion, ten infants arrived at the unit at once, at a time when there was not a single vacant bed or an additional oxygen source available to receive new cases.

4. Injuries and arrests during raids by occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank
Occupation forces and settlers carried out a series of incursions, raids and attacks in cities and towns across the West Bank and Jerusalem, resulting in injuries, arrests and closures.
A 14-year-old child was wounded by live ammunition in the foot during an incursion by occupation forces into the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.

A foot patrol from the occupation army raided the village of Rummana, west of Jenin. It also raided the town of Ya’bad, southwest of the city, and the town of Zababdeh to the south, and searched several homes during its incursion into the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.

In Tulkarm, occupation forces arrested the young man Issam Zidan during a raid on the town of Deir al-Ghusun, north of the city.

In Nablus, occupation forces raided the village of Salem, east of the city, while settlers, under the protection of occupation soldiers, carried out provocative patrols among Palestinian homes.

5. Gaza suffocates in silence: 55,000 cubic meters of wastewater discharged daily without treatment
The sewage system in the Gaza Strip is facing widespread collapse, with approximately 55,000 cubic meters of wastewater being discharged every day without treatment. This threatens to exacerbate contamination of the soil, groundwater and sea, while increasing health risks for residents.
According to the Palestinian Water Authority, around 40,000 cubic meters of this wastewater flow directly into the sea, while another 15,000 cubic meters seep into the environment through soakaway pits and leaks from sewage networks, eventually reaching the groundwater on which residents depend as a primary source of water.

7. Swedish parties support imposing sanctions on the occupation and cooperation with the International Criminal Court
A public opinion poll conducted by six human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, revealed that a majority of parties in the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) support taking firm measures against violations committed by the Israeli occupation government in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The poll, conducted jointly by Swedish and international civil society organizations ahead of the general elections scheduled for September 13, 2026, showed that seven parliamentary parties agreed on the need to enforce arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court against Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, and for the European Union to impose targeted sanctions on those responsible for the crimes.

8. Musician Bobby Gillespie supports campaign to boycott Ireland-Israel match
Musician Bobby Gillespie, a member of the band Primal Scream, announced his full support for the Stop the Match (#StopTheMatch) campaign opposing the upcoming match between the Irish national team and Israel.
The solidarity statement came during a demonstration organized by activists on Thursday night ahead of the kickoff of a match involving Scottish club Celtic, aimed at raising awareness of the implications of sporting complicity amid the continuation of what the text describes as a genocidal war.

9. Demonstrations in County Wicklow denounce European complicity in arming the occupation
Ireland’s County Wicklow witnessed angry protests coinciding with a European Union meeting, rejecting visits by EU ministers and officials and denouncing the complicity of its member states in supporting the genocidal war being waged by the Israeli occupation.
Demonstrators carried slogans declaring that “warmongers” were not welcome in Ireland, protesting the continuation of European trade with Israel worth billions of euros, as well as Germany’s recent signing of an arms deal with Israel worth $930 million and Greece’s conclusion of a defense deal with it worth $3.6 billion.

10. Glasgow University surrounded in protest against visit by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown
Activists and student movements supporting Palestinian rights organized an angry protest outside the University of Glasgow in Scotland, rejecting a visit by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Protesters raised slogans condemning his visit and denouncing what they described as his political and historical positions in support of Israel. They considered hosting him on campus an act of complicity with figures who support and contribute to whitewashing the occupation’s crimes and the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

11. Pension meeting in Denmark disrupted in protest against funding genocide
A group of Danish activists and trade union members stormed a meeting of the board of directors of the pension company PensionDanmark and completely disrupted its proceedings on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The action was aimed at pressuring the company’s management to withdraw its investments and pensioners’ funds from international arms companies accused of complicity in supporting and supplying military equipment to the Israeli occupation army, which is being used in the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

12. Activists shut down AIB branch in Dundalk in protest against cooperation with the occupation
Activists from the Irish-Palestinian solidarity campaign held a protest at an AIB bank branch in Dundalk, seeking to prevent the bank from signing a $1.2 million technology contract with a company founded by former members of Unit 8200 of the Israeli military intelligence service.
Youth groups and the “Your Technology, Their Death” campaign called on the Irish public to take urgent action and apply pressure by sending large numbers of emails and making direct calls to the bank’s management to force it to cancel the agreement.

13. Demonstration outside Scottish Parliament calls for boycott to be activated
Protesters from the Make Boycott Effective movement gathered outside the Scottish Parliament (Holyrood) in the capital Edinburgh, demanding an end to complicity, implementation of boycott decisions, divestment, and the imposition of sanctions against Israel.
The protesters condemned the inaction of the Scottish government and the National Party in taking concrete steps, more than a year after First Minister John Swinney publicly acknowledged that a genocide was taking place in Gaza under pressure from the streets, followed by a parliamentary vote in favor of a boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) policy.

14. European Union rejects Israeli ministers’ statements on displacement of our people from Gaza and considers them unacceptable
European Commission spokesperson Christian Wigand reaffirmed the European Union’s rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians or any attempt to bring about demographic or territorial changes in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking during the European Commission’s daily press conference, Wigand responded to a question about statements by officials in the Israeli government concerning plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, saying: “In line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2735, the European Union rejects any attempt to bring about demographic or territorial changes in the Gaza Strip.”

15. 169 US lawmakers challenge bill protecting Israel from boycotts as Zionist campaigns attack them
The US House of Representatives passed H.R. 4795 by a vote of 237 to 169. The bill links certain federal funding for universities to their not participating in boycotts targeting “Israel,” while also imposing restrictions related to academic cooperation with it.
Those voting against included 167 Democrats and two Republicans, Thomas Massie and Warren Davidson. Prominent Democrats included Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Pramila Jayapal and Jerrold Nadler.

16. UN: No place or person is safe in Gaza despite ceasefire
The United Nations Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory said that there is no safe place or person in the Gaza Strip, despite nearly a year having passed since the ceasefire was announced.
The office said that 24 Palestinians, including four children and a woman, were killed in Israeli attacks over five days, between August 28 and September 1, noting that 21 of them were killed in airstrikes.

It stressed that Israel’s claim that it was targeting “lawful targets” does not exempt it from its obligations under international humanitarian law, emphasizing the need to comply with rules protecting civilians.

17. UN official: 1,100 Palestinians killed by army and settlers in West Bank since October 2023
Thameen Al-Kheetan, spokesperson for the United Nations Human Rights Office, said that the office has documented the deaths of more than 1,100 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank at the hands of Israeli soldiers and settlers since October 2023. He described the situation as “horrific” and warned of concerns over ethnic cleansing.
According to the Anadolu Agency, Al-Kheetan said the office was concerned that Israel’s policy aimed at entrenching the annexation of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, could become permanent, stressing that this would conflict with international law and fundamental human rights.

18. Istanbul Bar Association submits additional evidence to ICC regarding occupation crimes in Gaza
The Istanbul Bar Association announced that it had submitted additional evidence to the International Criminal Court in The Hague concerning what it described as acts of genocide and crimes against humanity committed by Israeli officials in the Gaza Strip.
The Bar Association said the submitted evidence consists of six files containing victims’ testimonies, photographs, video footage, books and reports, including material collected by the Anadolu Agency from the Palestinian territories.

19. Smotrich: We will be forced to wage war in the West Bank to disarm Palestinians
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that Israel may be forced to wage a war in the West Bank with the aim of disarming Palestinians and restricting the carrying of weapons to occupation forces.
Smotrich added that the objective of any potential military operation would be to prevent Palestinians from possessing weapons, while occupation forces continue to carry out raids, incursions and arrests in cities and towns across the West Bank.
