1. Gaza Health Ministry: 17 killed and 27 injured over the past 48 hours
The Gaza Health Ministry reported in its daily statistical report that a total of 17 people were brought to hospitals in the Strip over the past 48 hours, including 5 newly killed, one person who died from previously sustained injuries, and 11 bodies recovered from the rubble, in addition to 27 injured.
The ministry explained in its statement that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them at this time.

2. Bodies of 55 victims recovered in Zeitoun; recovery operations for others begin in Nuseirat
Civil Defense teams in the Gaza Strip recovered the bodies and remains of 55 victims from beneath the rubble of a house belonging to the “Malaka” family in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The house had been hit by an Israeli airstrike approximately two years ago while sheltering dozens of displaced people.
Colonel Mohammad Abu Dan, supervisor of the project to recover the bodies of the victims, said that rescue teams were continuing for the third consecutive day to search for and recover bodies from beneath the rubble of the building, in an effort to locate more than 60 missing people believed to have died inside it.

3. Accelerating Israeli measures to impose new realities in Areas “A” and “B”
The weekly settlement report documented an escalation in measures by the Israeli occupation and its settlers to expand settlements, seize land, and impose new realities on the ground. This process is moving beyond the area classified as “C” and increasingly extending into Areas “A” and “B,” threatening Palestinian land and undermining geographical continuity between Palestinian cities, towns, and communities in the West Bank.
The report, prepared by the National Bureau for the Defense of Land and Resistance to Settlements, covers the period from August 29 to September 4.

4. Civil Defense: More than 8,000 bodies remain under the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza
Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, said that more than 8,000 bodies remain under the rubble of destroyed buildings across different parts of the Strip, amid difficulties in search and recovery operations due to the scale of destruction and the lack of resources.
Bassal explained that the Engineers’ Tower, near 20th Street north of Nuseirat refugee camp, was hit during the war. At the time, it was sheltering more than 350 citizens and displaced people.

5. “Government Media”: The crisis of people missing under the rubble is an unprecedented catastrophe requiring urgent international intervention
Dr. Ismail al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office, said that the issue of people missing beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings in the Gaza Strip represents an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe requiring urgent international intervention. He warned of the serious consequences of thousands of bodies remaining under the rubble.
In a press statement, al-Thawabta explained that the scale of the crisis exceeds local capabilities due to shortages of heavy machinery and equipment resulting from the blockade. He stressed the need for international and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities by supporting Civil Defense teams in recovering the remains of the victims and preserving their dignity.

6. New settlement outpost, land incursions and crop destruction in settler attacks in the West Bank
Settlers continued to escalate their attacks against Palestinians and their property in various parts of the occupied West Bank. Settlers have also begun establishing a new agricultural settlement outpost in the Jordan Valley.
The Al-Baidar Human Rights Organization said that settlers had begun establishing a new agricultural settlement outpost called “Petron” in the Jordan Valley, alongside the installation of temporary structures at the site.

7. Amid a stalled protocol, melting tents await Gaza’s autumn
With the first breezes of September beginning to blow, autumn winds are lifting the edges of worn-out tents along the beaches of the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, renewing the fears of hundreds of thousands of displaced families.
For these families, every season has become another chapter in their ongoing suffering, as weather conditions fluctuate and the rains approach.

9. Sharp criticism of Adidas for featuring an Israeli soldier injured in Gaza
German company “Adidas” is facing sharp criticism over a new advertising campaign after featuring a reserve soldier in the Israeli military to promote an initiative targeting people with disabilities.
“Adidas” featured Israeli soldier Shaliv Biton in promoting the initiative after he lost a leg as a result of an injury sustained while participating in Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip in 2021. The campaign sparked a wave of Palestinian and Arab outrage, expressed through posts and comments on social media.

10. European Union announces rejection of Israeli plans to impose demographic and geographic changes in Gaza
The European Union announced its categorical rejection of any attempt aimed at imposing demographic or geographic changes in the Gaza Strip, stressing that Palestinians must not be forcibly displaced from their lands.
European Commission spokesperson Christian Wigand told Anadolu Agency that the Gaza Strip constitutes an “integral part” of the future Palestinian state.

11. “Global Green” calls for an end to Irish complicity in the genocide of Palestinians
Matthew Thornton, a representative of the “Global Green” organization, called for an end to official Irish complicity in the genocidal war being waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
During events at the “Electric Picnic” music festival, Thornton highlighted the main campaigns of the “Irish Council for Peace and Democracy” directed against the Central Bank of Ireland, seeking to halt dealings involving Israeli “genocide bonds.”

12. Amnesty International calls for Hossam Abu Safiya to be saved and reveals brutal torture
Amnesty International revealed that Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital and a detained physician, has been subjected to new and ongoing episodes of brutal torture while held in Israeli isolation detention.
The organization quoted his lawyer, who recently visited him, as saying that prison guards continue to beat him severely in sensitive areas of his body and deliberately deprive him of sleep, while also threatening him to prevent him from exposing the harsh conditions of his detention.

13. Jewish organizations call on Prime Minister Andy Burnham to boycott settlements
Prominent leaders of Jewish civil society organizations in Britain sent an urgent letter to Prime Minister Andy Burnham, urging him to take stronger punitive measures against the Israeli occupation and to “oppose any further attempts to silence demonstrations and marches supporting Palestine.”
The historic letter comes as the Burnham government prepares to announce a new package of sanctions and measures against the occupation in the occupied West Bank, including a ban on products and goods originating from illegal Israeli settlements.

14. Demonstrators surround Israeli consulate in Toronto in protest against genocide
During their emergency demonstration, protesters called for an immediate end to the genocidal war and ongoing massacres committed by the Israeli military against civilians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. They also demanded an end to military attacks and assaults extending toward Lebanon and Iran.
The protesters further called on the Canadian government to impose sanctions on Israel and ban arms exports to it.

15. Activists shut down Rheinmetall weapons factory in Bonn, Germany
Protesters disrupted production lines in an effort to prevent the flow of weapons that, according to them, contribute to the killing of Palestinian children, and to denounce the direct and active support provided by the German government and the company’s senior management for what they describe as genocide crimes.
The text notes that Rheinmetall is Germany’s largest arms company and that it built a dedicated facility in the German city of Weeze to produce components for F-35 fighter aircraft, as part of an order involving aircraft intended for Israel, which have been used in bombardments of Gaza since 2021.

16. New Zealand campaign to fly kites in solidarity with Gaza’s children
In response to an appeal by Palestinian children, solidarity groups and the Global Sumud Flotilla are organizing an international coordinated event in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), New Zealand, under the slogan “Kites for Freedom” on Saturday, September 12, at Coyle Park in Point Chevalier.
The mass event aims to draw attention to what organizers describe as the ongoing terror inflicted by the Israeli occupation against children in the Gaza Strip, and to the use of military force to prevent them from flying their kites on the grounds of an alleged “security threat.”

17. U.S. official donates $3 million to AIPAC to defeat pro-Palestinian supporters
Billionaire Marc Rowan, a member of Trump’s Peace Council and an official tasked with Gaza’s reconstruction, donated $1.5 million this year to the political action committee of the pro-Israel lobby “AIPAC.”
This brings his total contributions to the committee to $3 million since 2022, with the aim of defeating U.S. candidates opposed to the genocidal war.

The U.S. newspaper The Intercept revealed that Rowan’s latest donations had doubled, equaling the total amount he had contributed over the previous four years.

18. Columbia University reopens its doors to pro-Palestinian protesters after a two-year siege
The administration of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani officially expressed its support for reopening Columbia University’s main campus in Manhattan to the public, completely reversing the position of his predecessor, Eric Adams, who had legitimized the university’s closure under the pretext of “security concerns” in order to suppress widespread student protests and pro-Palestinian encampments.
The shift came in a legal document submitted by the legal department of the Mamdani administration — described in the text as having historically opposed the Israeli occupation — to the Manhattan Supreme Court. The city thereby withdrew its previous filing and pressured the university administration to end the blockade imposed on the campus, which has extended across six residential blocks since October 2023.

20. Mexican campaign seeks 130,000 signatures to cut ties with Israel
The campaign has so far succeeded in collecting around 65,000 signatures as part of a constitutional initiative to sever diplomatic relations with the State of Israel for violating international treaties signed by Mexico.
Organizers of the independent grassroots campaign explained that signatures can currently be collected only on paper, in accordance with regulations issued by the National Electoral Institute (INE), which does not currently provide digital options.

21. Microsoft employees launch “Donate Your Resignation” campaign against complicity in Gaza genocide
Microsoft employees have launched an organized campaign under the slogan “Donate Your Resignation to the Center,” calling on colleagues who oppose working for a company that, according to them, exploits their work to make them complicit in the genocidal war not to leave quietly, but to turn their departure into a tool of political and media pressure with a tangible impact.
The initiative was launched through the “No Azure for Apartheid” movement, which provided special forms for employees wishing to resign, as well as for those who were arbitrarily and retaliatorily placed on “performance improvement” plans because of their positions.

22. Malaysian campaign calls for 71 containers bound for Israel through Tanjung Pelepas port to be blocked
The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement in Malaysia (BDS Malaysia) revealed that at least 71 shipping containers are bound for Israel, either currently docked at Tanjung Pelepas Port or heading directly there, and called on the authorities to intervene immediately to cut off the supplies.
The movement called on the Malaysian government to go beyond random and temporary interception operations and implement comprehensive punitive measures, including a total ban on all ships and goods bound for Israel through local ports.
