1. 11 Killed and 6 Injured in the Gaza Strip by Israeli Occupation Fire**

Eleven Palestinians were killed by fire from the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip. Three journalists were killed after their vehicle was targeted while they were filming in one of the camps affiliated with the Egyptian Committee near the Turkish Hospital in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that three citizens were killed in an artillery shelling that targeted the Juhar al-Dik area east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
They also reported the killing of a woman and a child by Israeli occupation fire in the Sheikh Nasser area and the slaughterhouse district south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In addition, three citizens were killed by Israeli occupation fire in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
For its part, the Gaza Ministry of Health said that the number of casualties received by hospitals stands at 11 killed and 6 injured.

**2. Five Injured During Israeli Attacks and an Intensified Military Campaign South of Hebron for the Third Day**

Five Palestinian citizens were injured after Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted them in the Jabal Jawhar area south of Hebron.
The Palestinian Red Crescent announced in a brief statement that its crews dealt with five injuries resulting from Israeli soldiers assaulting citizens during the ongoing raid on the area, and the injured were transferred to hospital for treatment.
These attacks come as Israeli occupation forces continue a wide military campaign inside the city of Hebron for the third consecutive day, including heavy deployment in several neighborhoods and raids on Palestinian homes.

**3. New Settlement Outpost in Khan al-Ahmar, Jerusalem**

Settlers established a new settlement outpost in the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar east of occupied Jerusalem and erected tents on land south of Nablus.
The Jerusalem Governorate said that settlers began building a new settlement outpost in Khan al-Ahmar, about 60 meters away from the community school.
This step constitutes a direct threat to Palestinian residential communities and to children’s right to education, and comes as part of a settlement policy aimed at imposing control over the land and forcibly displacing residents.

**4. Israeli Prison Administration Represses Female Prisoners in Damon Prison**

Human rights sources reported that the Israeli prison administration carried out violent repression against female prisoners in Damon Prison, involving physical assaults that lasted more than three hours.
Lawyer Hassan Abadi relayed, following a visit, that the female prisoners were subjected to a violent crackdown. Abadi said the prisoners woke to the sound of a stun grenade in the prison yard, were handcuffed, blindfolded, and forced to remain in the yard for more than three hours.

**5. Israeli Settlement Project to Build 1,400 Housing Units on the Ruins of UNRWA Headquarters in Jerusalem**

Fakhri Abu Diab, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Aqsa Guardians Association specializing in Jerusalem affairs, warned of the repercussions of the Israeli occupation’s demolition and bulldozing of the headquarters of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jerusalem, and the proposal of a settlement plan to build around 1,400 housing units on its ruins.
Abu Diab said in press statements that this step carries a clear message to the world: that “Israel” shows no regard for international law, the United Nations, or the immunities granted to international organizations.

**6. Israeli Forces Raid Various Areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem and Arrest a Child**

Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, closing roads, sparking clashes, and arresting a child.
In occupied Jerusalem, the forces raided the town of Al-Ram north of the city and closed the Wadi al-Joz road leading to Bab al-Asbat.
In the northern West Bank, they raided the town of Qaffin north of Tulkarm and the town of Beita south of Nablus, while clashes erupted in the village of Al-Mughayyir northeast of Ramallah, during which sound bombs were fired.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested the child عز الدين الدمج (Izz al-Din al-Damaj) from his residence in the Arab American University housing complex in the town of Zababdeh south of the city, after storming the area and distributing threatening leaflets to residents.

**7. Number of Martyred Journalists Rises to 260 Since the Start of the Genocidal War**

The Palestinian Journalists Forum confirmed that the escalation in targeting journalists is a direct result of the occupation’s impunity, and a desperate attempt to intimidate media workers and prevent them from exposing crimes of genocide.
In a statement, the forum mourned journalists Mohammed Qishta, Abdel Shaath, and Anas Ghanem, who were killed when the occupation targeted their vehicle in central Gaza.
It noted that with the killing of the three journalists, the number of journalists killed since the start of the aggression in October 2023 has risen to 260 male and female journalists, describing this toll as unprecedented and the highest in the history of global journalism in such a short period.

**8. Extremists Inaugurate a New Settlement in the West Bank**

**9. Solidarity Movements Expose MPs Blocking a Bill to Sanction Israel in New Zealand**

A campaign launched by the movements “All of Us Are Gaza” and “United for Palestine” in New Zealand revealed that members of the ruling coalition refrained from supporting a bill imposing sanctions on “Israel,” despite widespread public pressure, preventing its passage in parliament.
The bill was introduced in December 2024 by MP Chloe Swarbrick and received full support from the 55 opposition MPs. It still requires only six votes from the ruling coalition’s 68 MPs to pass.
The two movements published a statement accompanied by the names and photos of 11 MPs whom they said refused or ignored their constituents’ demands to support the bill, under the title: “These Are the Ones Who Made Genocide Possible,” noting that political silence has encouraged the continuation of crimes against Palestinians.

**10. Closure of Israeli Restaurant Chain “Boker Tov” Branches in Belgium**

A small Israeli restaurant chain in Belgium announced bankruptcy and the closure of its four branches in the city of Antwerp after prolonged pressure and boycott campaigns linked to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The “Boker Tov” chain had achieved notable success since its founding in 2020, reaching its peak with four street-food outlets and even publishing a cookbook on “Israeli cuisine.” However, this success sharply declined as boycott campaigns expanded across Europe after October 7, 2023.
The closure comes days after a report by the Israeli newspaper *Haaretz* revealed the shutdown of another Israeli-owned restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal, called “Tantura,” following what owners described as a decade of harassment that intensified after the war on Gaza.

**11. British Police Chief Forced Out After Banning Maccabi Tel Aviv Fans**

A smear campaign following the decision by West Midlands Police to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending a match in Birmingham forced Police Chief Craig Guildford into retirement. He had rejected targeting pro-Palestine supporters and Muslims in the country.
This followed the publication of alleged preliminary findings from an investigation conducted by the UK’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary, Sir Andy Cooke, which downplayed violence committed by Maccabi fans and described peaceful protests against the genocide in Gaza as exaggerated.
The findings sparked widespread condemnation, with observers saying the report ignored Israeli crimes against Palestinians and violence carried out by Maccabi Tel Aviv fans against pro-Palestine supporters in the Netherlands during a match against Ajax Amsterdam.
The investigation and campaign also contributed to the politicization and repression of policing, with new laws granting interior ministers the power to force police chiefs to retire or resign on alleged performance grounds.

**12. Canada: “Peace Council” Should Focus on Gaza’s Urgent Needs**

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that the “Peace Council” announced by U.S. President Donald Trump for Gaza should focus on the urgent needs of Palestinians and deliver tangible results.
Speaking at a panel during the World Economic Forum meetings in Davos, Switzerland, Carney expressed Canada’s readiness to support Palestinians, saying: “We write checks and provide in-kind contributions that enhance the well-being of the Palestinian people, but we want this to directly lead to results that encourage peace.”

**13. U.S. Call to Expel the Israeli Association of Social Workers**

The Shattat Network – United States–Palestine for Mental Health called on social workers in the United States to urgently act and pressure the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) to vote in favor of expelling the Israeli Union of Social Workers from the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) during the scheduled vote on February 18, 2026.
The call comes in light of documented confirmations that the Israeli Union of Social Workers acknowledged the participation of some of its members in crimes in the West Bank and the genocidal war in Gaza, in direct violation of the ethical principles of the social work profession, which emphasize peace and civilian protection.
The network stressed that this call responds to appeals from the Palestinian Union of Social Workers and Psychologists, as well as UN humanitarian data on the scale of the catastrophe in Gaza, warning that continued silence by international professional institutions constitutes unacceptable moral complicity.

**14. Legal Complaint in Athens Demands Arrest of Israeli Defense Minister for War Crimes and Genocide**

The Hind Rajab Foundation filed a formal complaint with the public prosecutor at the Greek Supreme Court, calling for the arrest of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, who is on an official visit to Athens, for investigation over suspected involvement in genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
In a statement, the foundation said the complaint was submitted in cooperation with Greek lawyers, including members of the “Alternative Intervention of the Athens Bar Association,” as well as members of the Athens Bar Council.

**15. European Union: Raid and Demolition of UNRWA Facilities in Jerusalem Is a Serious Attack, and We Continue to Support the Agency**

The European Union said that Israeli occupation authorities’ raid on UNRWA headquarters in East Jerusalem and the demolition carried out constitute “a serious attack on the UN agency and a violation of Israel’s obligations under the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations.”
The EU added that it “remains a strong supporter of the United Nations, of which UNRWA is a part, and is fully committed to a multilateral system based on international law and the principles of the UN Charter.”

**16. U.S. State Department Official: Arresting Palestine Action Supporters in the UK Suppresses Free Speech**

Sarah Rogers, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy in the Trump administration, said that the arrest of supporters of “Palestine Action” in the United Kingdom represents a suppression of free expression and does “more harm than good.”
Rogers said criminalizing support for a peaceful Palestinian movement restricts freedoms, and that people should not be punished simply for declaring support for “Palestine Action” unless there is actual coordination with armed groups. She added: “If you simply stand and say, ‘I support Palestine Action,’ suppressing that speech does more harm than good.”
These remarks come amid escalating security and legal measures against the movement in Britain, after the UK Parliament voted in July 2025 to designate “Palestine Action” as a terrorist organization following an incident in which members stormed the RAF Brize Norton airbase and sabotaged aircraft in protest against Britain’s arming of the Israeli war machine.

**17. Hind Rajab Pursues an Israeli Comedian in New York Who Booby-Trapped a Mosque in Gaza**

The Hind Rajab Foundation filed a criminal complaint with authorities in New York against an Israeli comedian scheduled to perform in the city, who had previously booby-trapped a mosque in Gaza during his service in the Israeli occupation army.
The foundation said it has escalated legal action against Guy Hochman on suspicion of committing war crimes in Gaza, explaining that it submitted an urgent request to prosecute him in the United States, supported by an “extensive evidence file documenting war crimes and direct incitement to genocide in Gaza.”
It added that Hochman was detained and subjected to lengthy questioning at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada after the complaint was filed and the investigation file was handed over to authorities.

**18. Doctors Without Borders Coordinator Warns of Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza as Cold Intensifies and Attacks Continue**

The Gaza project coordinator for Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Hunter McGovern, warned of worsening humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip amid severe weather and ongoing Israeli attacks.
In press statements, McGovern said Gaza is currently experiencing harsh winter conditions, noting that large numbers of residents are living in makeshift plastic shelters.
He explained that those not living in such shelters are staying in old tents that have suffered extensive damage from strong winds and heavy rain, adding that Palestinians in Gaza have been living in these tents for a long time and have been forced to move them multiple times due to winter conditions and flooding.
