Freed prisoner Riyad Al-Amour (56), from the town of Tuqu‘ in Bethlehem and exiled to Egypt, has died after suffering from illness and medical neglect during his detention in Israeli prisons.
Family sources reported that his health had recently deteriorated significantly. He was considered one of the أبرز prisoners subjected to systematic medical abuse over 23 years in Israeli prisons, until he was released in the “Flood of the Free” deal in October 2025.

Occupation escalates its crimes: arrests and abuse of civilians in the West Bank.

The Palestine Information Center “Mu‘ta” recorded a significant rise in violations committed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, totaling 1,385 violations between March 27 and April 2, 2026.
According to the report, these violations resulted in the killing of 6 Palestinians and the injury of 49 others, in addition to 164 cases of arrest and detention.
