1. Settlers establish a new settlement outpost on the lands of Silwad and Deir Jarir

Israeli settlers established a new settlement outpost on the lands of the towns of Silwad and Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, in a new move aimed at expanding settlements and seizing more Palestinian land. Local sources reported that settlers erected a tent and began establishing the new outpost near the entrance to the village of Deir Jarir, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, which provided security for the settlers during their activities in the area.

2. Social Development Ministry warns of unprecedented humanitarian deterioration threatening two million Palestinians in Gaza
The Ministry of Social Development warned of the unprecedented humanitarian deterioration affecting two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, half of them children, stressing that more than 90% of them have become displaced, living in dilapidated displacement tents and among the ruins of destroyed buildings. According to ministry data, the Strip includes large segments of vulnerable people, including more than 108,000 elderly people, around 47,000 widows, and more than 120,000 people with disabilities.

5. Continued violations of the Gaza ceasefire: 3 fishermen injured, shelling and scattered attacks across the Strip
Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through gunfire, military escalation, and artillery shelling targeting various areas of the Strip, in addition to attacks on fishermen at sea. Local sources reported that three Palestinian fishermen were injured after Israeli warships opened fire on their boats off the coast of Gaza City. On the ground, Israeli military vehicles fired heavily, while artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City. The skies also witnessed intensive, low-altitude flights by drones and reconnaissance aircraft.

6. As part of “annexation” measures, Katz decides to deploy Israeli police in the West Bank
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a decision that falls within measures aimed at the “annexation” of the West Bank to Israel, seeking to transfer responsibility for civil affairs in the West Bank to the Israeli police, similar to areas within the 1948 borders. The Hebrew-language Walla website reported that Katz instructed the military to prepare a detailed plan to transfer powers relating to “law enforcement” and civil affairs in the West Bank to the Israeli police. The police would in turn establish a special force for this purpose and assume full responsibility for civil affairs.

France has toughened its stance regarding attacks by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, calling on the occupation authorities to arrest and prosecute those responsible for occupying Palestinian homes in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus. The French Foreign Ministry said it “strongly condemns” the occupation of several Palestinian homes in Qusra by Israeli settlers, along with acts of violence committed against Palestinian civilians.

The organization “Stop Antisemitism” (CAM) launched a broad campaign against the University of Zurich and its Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture after an investigation by the organization claimed that the institute contained academic content critical of the Israeli occupation, which it characterized as “antisemitic.” The investigation targeted content from Professor Philip Ursprung’s institute, including academic material discussing facts related to Israeli settler colonialism and addressing crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

12. Activists block road to Rheinmetall factory in Germany in protest against ammunition supplies to Israel
Activists from the group “People Against Genocide” blocked roads leading to the Rheinmetall weapons factory in Berlin’s Wedding district, protesting the production of ammunition in the heart of the German capital for the first time since World War II and its sale to the Israeli government and military.

The protesters said the factory, which began operating last July, is located near schools and kindergartens. They argued that “producing ammunition next to children makes the company a partner in killing children in Gaza.”

British journalist Piers Morgan’s program featured a heated confrontation with Israeli Rabbi Shmuley during a discussion about the Israeli military’s targeting of journalists in the Gaza Strip. Morgan referred to the killing of more than 200 Palestinian journalists by the Israeli military and to attempts to claim that they all belonged to Hamas.

Rabbi Shmuley responded by accusing Morgan of “lying and blood libel.” Morgan sharply replied: “Oh, shut up with your ‘blood libel’ accusations.”

A U.S. federal court on Thursday rejected a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump’s administration against Harvard University, accusing it of being lenient toward antisemitism during pro-Palestinian demonstrations on its campus. Judge Richard Stearns of the U.S. District Court in Boston said the government had not sufficiently demonstrated that Harvard had violated a provision of the Civil Rights Act prohibiting discrimination based on race or nationality.

16. Protest outside Israeli embassy in Washington calls for its expulsion
Pro-Palestinian activists organized a protest outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., calling on the international community to reject the colonial system and diplomatically isolate it.

Participants threw containers symbolizing “taking out the trash and cleaning the place,” as a visual gesture expressing their rejection of the presence of a diplomatic representation of a state accused of committing genocidal crimes and practicing apartheid policies.

17. UN: Settler attacks in the West Bank are intolerable and must stop
The United Nations Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory warned that settler attacks and assaults on Palestinian homes had reached intolerable levels, calling on the Israeli authorities to remove settlers who use violence against thousands of Palestinians, illegally seize Palestinian land, and expand settlements.

The office explained that the establishment of an Israeli settlement outpost near the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, in November 2025 was reportedly followed by settlers taking control of the area west of the town within Area B, alongside an escalation in attacks against Palestinians.

Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, expressed shock at what she described as the destruction of Palestinian lives by the Israeli army and settlers.

Albanese said she was shocked to see what the Israeli army and settlers were doing, questioning what measures the parties and international institutions were taking to stop what she described as “violent programs” targeting Palestinians.

19. Athens: Activists protest Israeli tourists visiting the country
Pro-Palestinian activists protested against Israeli tourists who arrived aboard a cruise ship at the port of Piraeus in the Greek capital, Athens.

The activists gathered at the port of Piraeus in response to a call by Greek civil-society organizations supporting Palestine.

20. Widespread Arab and international condemnation of renewed settler attacks on Qusra
Western and Arab countries and organizations condemned the renewed attacks and incursions by settlers into the town of Qusra and neighboring villages south of Nablus in the West Bank, amid warnings about the consequences of this escalation on the ground and its risks to regional stability.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of escalating settlement plans aimed at taking control of citizens’ lands, calling on the international community to intervene urgently, pressure the Israeli government, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
