3. Settlement expansion devours the West Bank: 64,000 dunams at risk of confiscation and 19,000 settlement units since October
Colonial expansion in the occupied West Bank is not taking place sporadically or through isolated decisions, but as part of an integrated process in which the occupation authorities advance step by step, from planning and approval to issuing tenders and preparing the land.
At the same time, vast areas of Palestinian land are being confiscated, while attacks by settlers and the army are escalating, in an attempt to redraw the geography of the West Bank and impose a permanent colonial reality at the expense of the Palestinian presence.

4. More than 800 teachers killed: the occupation targets education but cannot extinguish its mission
As the Israeli occupation continues its war against Palestinians and targets the foundations of their lives, Palestinian teachers have also not been spared the machinery of killing, arrest and abuse.
More than 800 teachers have been killed, more than 3,300 injured, and more than 170 teachers arrested since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

5. Occupation imposes comprehensive closure on the West Bank and Gaza on the anniversary of the Flood
In another step reflecting the policy of restriction and strangulation imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on Palestinians, the occupation government is moving to tighten its grip on the West Bank and Gaza Strip by imposing a comprehensive closure and tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement.
The measures coincide with the anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle on October 7, at a time when raids, arrests and settler attacks are escalating and the space available to Palestinians for movement and daily life is shrinking.

6. Gaza’s medicines on the brink of depletion: shortages affecting treatment for mothers, children, kidney patients and cancer patients
The health sector in the Gaza Strip continues to be drained, despite nearly a year having passed since the ceasefire agreement came into effect.
Restrictions on the entry of medical supplies have left hospitals facing severe shortages of medicines and medical supplies, weakening their ability to provide treatment according to standard medical protocols.

Zaher Al-Wahidi, director of the Health Information Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said that, as the first anniversary of the ceasefire agreement approaches, the health sector has seen no genuine improvement.

He stressed that the healthcare system continues to face ongoing depletion due to the continued loss of life and the strict restrictions imposed on the entry of medical supplies.

The European Commission halted funding for the European Network Against Racism after more than 20 years of continuous support, in what was described as a punitive measure following the network’s positions against Islamophobia and its public condemnation of the genocide allegedly being committed by the Israeli occupation in Palestine.
In response, parliamentarian Rima Hassan submitted an official question to the European Commission demanding an explanation for the decision and highlighting what she described as its stark contradiction with the European Union’s claims regarding its commitment to combating racism and protecting independent civic space.
