1. 5 martyrs killed by occupation fire and continued demolitions in Gaza

Five civilians were killed by Israeli occupation forces, which continue to violate the ceasefire for the 122nd consecutive day through shelling and demolition of buildings in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the war of extermination on October 7, 2023, occupation forces have killed more than 72,000 people, injured about 172,000 others, and more than 8,000 remain missing. In addition, widespread destruction has affected around 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at approximately $70 billion.

**2. Serious escalation in Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists during January**

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate recorded a significant increase in the number and severity of Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists during the month of January.
According to documentation by the Syndicate’s Freedoms Committee, violations included killings, arrests, live fire, threats at gunpoint, detention, prevention of media coverage, physical assaults, targeting of media institutions, and confiscation of journalistic equipment.
The data documented the killing of three journalists while performing their work in the Gaza Strip, as part of what was described as a continued policy of directly targeting media crews, in addition to six cases of direct gunfire at journalists and eight cases of threats at gunpoint, posing a real danger to their lives.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 5 martyrs and 5 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours.
In its report, the ministry stated that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 586, with 1,558 injuries and 717 bodies recovered.
The overall toll of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,037 martyrs and 171,666 injuries.

Local sources reported that settlers took control of caves belonging to the Al-Hamamda and Al-Atiri families in Khirbet al-Tuban, brought their sheep there, and later released them onto residents’ agricultural lands.
The sources explained that these caves are located near the road connecting the villages and hamlets of Masafer Yatta that are threatened with displacement, and close to Mghaier al-Obeid, Isfey, Al-Fakhit, and Al-Majaz.

Israeli occupation authorities notified residents of 11 apartments in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to evacuate by March 23, 2026.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that joint teams from the “Execution and Enforcement Department” and occupation forces raided homes belonging to the Al-Rajabi family and delivered final eviction notices, claiming “Jewish ownership” of the land on which the homes are built.
The notices include: Nidal Al-Rajabi’s building (6 apartments), Yaqub Al-Rajabi’s building (4 apartments), and the apartment of Fathi Al-Rajabi, threatening 60 individuals with the loss of their homes and forced displacement.

An investigative report revealed field testimonies and official reports documenting the vaporization of more than 2,842 martyrs in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli army’s use of internationally prohibited weapons with devastating thermal and vacuum effects.
The reports indicated that Gaza Civil Defense and rescue teams encountered cases where only blood mist and minimal human remains were found at strike sites, suggesting the extensive lethality of the weapons used.
Information points to the use of thermobaric and enhanced-dispersion explosive weapons capable of generating temperatures reaching 3,500°C and immense pressure that causes body fluids to vaporize and tissues to turn into ash.

France and Switzerland condemned decisions by the Israeli security cabinet aimed at deepening attempts to annex the West Bank.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the decisions seek to expand Israeli control over the West Bank, particularly Areas (A) and (B), in violation of international law and representing a serious challenge to the Oslo Accords and the Hebron Protocol.

Palestinian Liqaa Kordia was hospitalized after suffering a seizure while in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to reports, Kordia, a 33-year-old Palestinian Muslim residing in the United States whose mother is a U.S. citizen, was transferred on the evening of February 6, 2026, from the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, to Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Burleson for medical examinations.
Her legal team and family confirmed she was discharged from the hospital on Monday and returned to the detention center, stating they had received no official updates on her condition during her hospitalization, raising concerns about her safety.
Kordia, her family, and human rights organizations assert that she was targeted due to her pro-Palestinian political activism and describe her detention conditions as “dirty, overcrowded, and inhumane.”
